I like Romney, but he has a glass jaw against the Clinton Machine.

McCain has enough dems riding on his coat-tails to possibly overcome the liberal angst that will make a strong showing at the polls.

Unless Republicans stop cherry picking their candidates, I agree, the Dems will win the day - because they are more accepting right now of the moderate viewpoint.

A must have viewpoint since it dominates the independent voter who will decide this election.

Good analysis. The predictions you have are the logical conclusions of what has transpired up to this point. A lot of people, myself included have this in mind. However, I take it on the basis of each primary as voter dynamics and coming events may change the landscape over time. Its still a long way to go. Thus far, I see a Democratic victory in November, whoever the candidate is. As long as they don't foul up, I'm predicting a Democrat victory. As it stands, Hillary is ahead in my list for the Dems. For the GOP, its McCain. Buy Romney may pull a surprise because of John's Immigration and war positions which the Republicans are not comfortable with. Note that Romney has more delegates in the bag than McCain. --Durano, done!
