Kingsport, TN (The Weekly Vice) - Pearl Jones, an 85-year-old Tennessee woman, was jailed Tuesday after she was allegedly caught operating a drug house - her second drug-related arrest in the last four years.
According to police, SWAT officers obtained and executed a search warrant on Jones' tiny Kingsport home Tuesday evening as a result of an ongoing drug investigation.
After entering the residence, officers located a stash of hydrocodone in the form of Lortab pills. Officers also recovered $1,200 in cash which are believed to be proceeds from the sale of hydrocodone.
While executing the search, 42-year-old Timothy Farley was found inside the residence sitting on a cushion that was used to conceal drug paraphernalia.
Jones was booked into jail and charged with maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are sold, stored or used. She was also charged with possession of schedule IV drugs within 1.000 feet of a school. She was released after posting $70,000 bond.
Farley was charged with one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
Jones was reportedly indicted on similar drug charges in 2009 as a result of a criminal investigation which netted 46 people.
