Lake Worth, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Ferna Quesner, a 34-year-old Florida woman, was jailed Thursday after she allegedly beat her mother in the head with a barbell weight, before gouging her eyes out with a knife.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a Lake Worth residence after receiving several 911 calls from neighbors who reported that a domestic disturbance was in progress.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found 59-year-old Blonia Quesner laying on the kitchen floor in a large pool of blood.
They also found the victim's daughter, Ferna Quesner, standing over her mother's bloody body stating "I don't want to go to prison..... I was trying to kill the cat, and she is the cat."
After deputies took Ferna Quesner to the ground and placed her into custody, they quickly learned the extent of her mother's injuries. The victim's eyeballs were found a few feet away next to a kitchen knife and she.
The victim also suffered a broken nose, two broken forearms and severe head trauma during the attack, according to the arrest affidavit.
Investigators say Ferna Quesner beat her mother in the head with a barbell pole and a weight before dragging her bloody body into the kitchen where her eyes were gauged out.
Deputies noted in the report that the victim was beaten in the head with the weight with such force, that the weight was damaged as a result.
Ferna Quesner was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with aggravated battery and attempted first-degree murder.
Blonia Quesner was taken to a local hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
