Port St. Lucie, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Robert Tate Jr., a 30-year-old Florida man was jailed Saturday after he allegedly rammed his parent's home with an SUV after uploading strange videos of himself to YouTube.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Port St. Lucie after an unknown assailant used an SUV to ram the front doors of a resident's home.
Investigators say the impact of the crash destroyed the home's front doors, and sent glass shattering throughout the house. The motorist involved revved the car's engine in an apparent attempt to break through the wall and continue driving through the house, however, that effort tailed.
The motorist then fled the scene, leaving the vehicle's front bumper behind. The vehicle, which was later found abandoned at a local bar, was registered to victims' son, Robert Tate Jr.
Prior to the incident, Tate had made several comments to his parents, eluding to the fact that they wouldn't be around much longer. Tate also recently uploaded disturbing videos of himself to YouTube.
In the videos, Tate wore a batman mask and sang Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" in a high-pitched voice. In another video he used his fingers to form devil's horns and then bleated like a sick goat. The video was labelled "WARNING real demon possession in West Palm Beach, Florida."
The Weekly Vice mustered the courage to view one more Robert Tate video which shows him beating his chest like a drum. That pretty much burned our enthusiasm for watching any additional YouTube videos for awhile.
During a police interview, Tate admitted to ramming his car into his parents home, stating that he was abused as a kid.
He was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
