Atlanta, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) - Frank Louis Reeves, a 73-year-old Atlanta man was jailed Tuesday after he allegedly shot a woman to death at a gas station because she accidentally bumped into his wheelchair.
According to Atlanta police, Reeves was sitting in his wheelchair at a Murphy Express gas station in East Macon when a woman, identified as 65-year-old Linda Hunnicut pulled into the gas pump bay to fuel her car.
Investigators say the victim accidentally bumped into Reeves's wheelchair with her Buick Lascern as she attempted to line up for a pump. When the woman stepped out of her car, Reeves allegedly pulled out a 38-caliber handgun and shot the woman in the chest.
The woman was rushed to Central Georgia Medical Center where she was pronounced dead approximately a short time later.
Reeves was booked into the Bibb County Jail and charged with murder. He is currently being held without bond.
