Auburn, California (The Weekly Vice) - Marvin Daniels, a 63-year-old Auburn man was jailed Thursday after he allegedly chased his roommate around their home with a chainsaw.
According to Auburn Police, Daniels started up a chain saw, revved it a few times and then chased his roommate down the hallway and into a bedroom.
When Daniels found the door was locked, he walked outside the residence, pulled the screen off the bedroom window and then revved the chainsaw again as he hung through the open window.
Investigators say the victim fled to a neighbor's home and call 911. Officers responded around 12:13 a.m., and Daniels was apprehended without incident.
Daniels was booked into the Placer County Jail and charged with brandishing a weapon, making criminal threats, and violation of probation.
