Zephyrhills, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - James Davis, a 70-year-old Zephyrhills man was jailed Tuesday after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face repeatedly after she failed to get his dinner to the table on time.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the couple's residence Tuesday afternoon after receiving a report of possible domestic violence.
When deputies arrived at the scene, the victim stated that Davis punched her multiple times in the face and head "because she did not make dinner at the appropriate time."
Investigators say the victim had several injuries to her face resulting from Davis's attack. The couple has lived together for around 12 years.
Davis was booked into the Pasco County Jail and charged with domestic battery. Davis was also charged with domestic battery in August 2010.
