Sacramento, Calif. (The Weekly Vice) - Edward Valdez, a 45-year-old parolee-at-large was jailed after he allegedly led police on a low-speed chase while driving a go-cart.
According to police, an officer tried to stop Valdez after observing him on a go-cart driving "recklessly."
Investigators say Valdez fled from the officer using the go-cart, reaching speeds of up to 25 mph. Valdez then jumped from the go-cart, ran across a backyard and into a home.
Officers located Valdez inside the home and took him into custody without further incident.
Valdez was booked into jail and charged with evading arrest and resisting police.
