Vanessa Tsakrios (cached version only)Oxnard, Calif. (The Weekly Vice) - Vanessa Tsakrios, a 24-year-old substitute teacher at Pacifica High School has been jailed after she allegedly sent sexually explicit messages and photographs to a 17-year-old student.
According to Oxnard police, Tsakrios sent inappropriate text messages and photographs to a student who attends the same school.
Investigators responded to the school on Wednesday after receiving a complaint that the teacher had engaged in improper conduct with the boy.
Details about how the investigation began have not been released. Tsakrios, who resides in Camarilla, was arrested in Westlake Village Wednesday afternoon.
She was booked into the Ventura County Jail and charged with communication with a child with intent to commit improper sexual acts and child annoyance. Her bail was originally set at $500,000, but was later reduced to $100,000.
