Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Idalmis De Armas, a 40-year-old Tampa woman was jailed Saturday after she allegedly doused her husband with nail polish remover and set him on fire.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, De Armas reportedly poured a bottle of nail polish remover on her husband's arm and shorts - then used a cigarette lighter to set him on fire.
When officers arrived on the scene, De Armas admitted to setting her husband on fire. Her motive for the attack is unknown.
When officers tried to handcuff her, she made an unsuccessful attempt avoid arrest.
The victim received severe burns on his arm, but refused medical treatment.

De Armas was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail and charged with aggravated battery and resisting an officer. She was released after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
