Enid, Oklahoma (The Weekly Vice) - Preston Hodge, a 14-year-old Oklahoma boy was released from the hospital late last week after he was beaten unconscious at school over a game of dodge ball.
According to Enid Police, Hodge was playing dodge ball at Enid Middle school when he and another boy collided during the game.
Hodge reportedly shouted a comment to the boy, and the boy retaliated by repeatedly punching Hodge in the face.
Hodge received a broken cheekbone, lacerations to his face and possible internal injuries from the attack. He was also knocked unconscious for about a minute.
A teacher finally broke up the fight, but not before the damage had already been done.
Hodge was taken to Bass Hospital where he underwent surgery to repair bones in his face. He was released the day after surgery.
Jeff Rust, a friend of the family, snapped the photo posted above.
So far, no charges have been filed against either boy.
