Jennifer Cook Turned Left Into A Future Full Of Tickets

Smyrna, GA (The Weekly Vice) - Jennifer Cook, a 21-year-old Georgia woman has been jailed after she allegedly struck and badly injured a motorcycle officer before fleeing the scene.

According to Smyrna police, officer Gene Crawford was traveling northbound on South Cobb Road at around 3 p.m. when Cook's vehicle turned left from Ridge Road, and struck the officer's motorcycle.

The officer suffered a broken hip, two broken ankles, and a broken leg after the officer was thrown from the motorcycle onto Cooks vehicle and then onto the ground.

Cook punched the gas and immediately fled the scene while the officer lay broken on the pavement. She was apprehended a few minutes later.

She was booked into jail and charged with felony hit and run, felony failure to report an accident and failure to yield during a left turn. Her bond was set at $25,000.
