Crazyville, YouTube (The Weekly Vice) - An unidentified couple captured on a laundromat surveillance camera got the scare of their lives when they placed a toddler into a washing machine - and couldn't get him back out before the machine started spinning.
The video, which was uploaded to YouTube on May 18, shows a couple busy doing their laundry as their toddler son stands by.
At one point in the video, the presumed father picks the toddler up and loads him into an empty washing machine in an apparent bid to tease the child. The father shuts the washing machine door unaware that the machine is equipped with an auto-lock system.
The couple becomes distressed when they discover their child has been locked inside. Distress turns to panic when the machine kicks on, and the toddler begins tumbling inside the machine.
An employee at the laundromat is eventually able to get the machine stopped, and the child is rescued with minor injuries.
Little is known about the video at this point, except that it has received about 2.5 million visitors in just four days.
No arrests concerning the incident have been reported.
