Springfield, West Virginia (The Weekly Vice) - Lisa Lavoie, a 26-year-old former teacher at Maurice Donahue Elementary School who was charged and convicted of having sex with a 15-year-old student has been arrested again.

This time, she was found to be in violation of her probation when police found the same victim hiding in her closet.

In February of 2009, we reported Lovoie's arrest after she and a 15-year-old student attempted to flee together. The couple's ongoing sexual relationship came to an abrupt end when police found them hiding at a Super 8 motel.

In December 2010, Lavoie pleaded guilty to three counts of statutory rape and one count of enticement of a child under the age of 16. She was sentenced to five years of probation, provided she stop all contact with the victim. Yes, you read that right. PROBATION.

Judge Cornelius Moriarty defended the light sentence stating that he did not believe Lavoie was a sexual predator who was likely to reoffend.

"If I thought Lavoie was a manipulative sex offender likely to reoffend, my sentence would be very different. But I frankly do not believe that she is anything of the sort," stated Moriarty during Lavoie's sentencing hearing.

Well, that was then.

Lavoie was arrested again on Friday after a probation officer stopped by her apartment and discovered the exact same victim hiding in her closet.

Lavoie stood before a new judge on Monday, charged with violating her probation. Lavoie's attorney stated that the victim, now 18-years-old, showed up at her apartment claiming that he had no place else to stay.

The terms of Lavoie's probation, however, were very clear. She was ordered to have no contact with the victim or his family. She was also ordered to report to her probation officer immediately in the event the victim made any attempt to contact her.

Lovoie was offered a $25,000 cash bail during her bond hearing on Monday. She also asked the judge to allow her to live with her mother until her probation period has been completed.
