Zachary Zelko - Jailed After Sending Wife Flowers For Valentines Day


Milwaukee, Wisconsin (The Weekly Vice) - Zachary Zelko, a 23-year-old Sheboygan man was jailed after he allegedly sent his wife flowers for Valentines Day.

According to Milwaukee Police, police were called after Zelko sent flower's to his his wife's work along with a card that stated "Happy Valentines Day, enjoy the chocolates.

Officers went to the store where the flowers were purchased and interviewed the clerk who remembered Zerko because he gave specific instructions to leave his name off of the card. He told the clerk that he didn't want his name mentioned because he was not allowed to have contact with his wife.

A restraining order was filed against Zelko after he allegedly attacked and strangled his wife last month. He was charged with battery, strangulation and false imprisonment and released on $750 bail. He was released on the provision that he would have no contact with his wife.

Zelko was booked into jail once again and charged with felony bail jumping. He was released after posting $300 bond. He is due to appear in court next Wednesday.
