Kilgore, Texas (The Weekly Vice) - Kimberley Lynn Briggs, a 45-year-old Texas woman was jailed after she allegedly attacked her sister while both women attended their mother's funeral visitation.
According to Kilgore Police, Briggs and her sister, 54-year-old Debra Goff, were attending their mother's funeral visitation when Briggs suddenly attacked Golf right inside the funeral home.
Investigators say Briggs grabbed her sister by the hair, punched her in the head several times and then threw her on the floor.
Briggs later told detectives that she assaulted her sister over the location of jewelry that had been left behind by their recently deceased mother.
Briggs was booked into jail and charged with assault causing bodily injury. Her bond was set at $1,000.
