Carole Hope - Teacher - Charged With Repeatedly Having Sex With 14 year Old Student

Darlington, S.C. (The Weekly Vice) - Carole Ann Hope, a 36-year-old math teacher at New Heights Middle School in Jefferson has been charged with repeatedly having sex with a 14-year-old student.

According to police, Hope had sex with a 14-year-old student on two occasions between March 1 and October 31 of this year.

Investigators say Hope had sex with the boy at least once at her Hartsville home and a second time at a Horry County hotel. Hope reportedly met the teen while teaching at New Heights.

Hope made a first appearance in Darlington County court on Wednesday, where she was charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and committing a lewd act on a minor. Her bond was set at $10,000.

Hope will also face additional charges in Horry County court on Thursday.
