Phoenix, Arizona (The Weekly Vice) - Mike Hale, a Phoenix area man, is under investigation after he attempted to sell the human skull of an alleged 14-year-old girl on Craigslist.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Hale posted an ad on Craigslist in an effort to sell a human skull that is believed to belong to have belonged to a girl aged 12 to 14-years old.
The ad was viewed by authorities, who became suspicious since children of that age rarely die of natural causes.
Hale told detectives that he purchased the skull at a garage sale for $1 and was hoping to sell it for around $300.

The skull was confiscated and sent to the medical examiner's office for evaluation.
There is no law prohibiting the sale or possession of a human bone. If everything checks out, the skull will be returned to Hale.
