Beatrice, Nebraska (The Weekly Vice) - Jessalyn Stierwalt, a 21-year-old Nebraska woman was jailed Tuesday after she allegedly asked her friends to stab her multiple times so she could avoid an appointment with her probation officer.

Her friends were also arrested after they obliged her request.

According to Beatrice police, on July 5th, Stierwalt asked two of her friends, Scott Roberson-Truman, 20, and Jerry L. Duke, 32, to stab her so she didn't have to go see her probation officer. Police believe she was delaying the visit until she had time to sober up.

After asking several times, the two male accomplices finally did what she asked of them and stabbed her twice.

Investigators say Stierwalt was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital and was treated for two stab wounds to her shoulder and one to her abdomen. Both Roberson-Truman and Stierwalt admitted that they had stabbed her after she had asked them to, and said that they were all intoxicated during the incident.

Stierwalt was booked into jail and charged with conspiracy to commit assault. She was released after posting $5,000 bond and is beginning a diversion program. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison.

Roberson-Truman and Duke were also booked into jail and charged with second degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony. A $5,000 bond was set for each suspect.
