Paul Cannon Had Man Boobs, And He Wasn't Afraid To Use Them

Waterloo, Iowa (The Weekly Vice) - Paul Henry Cannon, a 43-year-old Waterloo man was jailed after he allegedly stole a woman's identity - and took things a step further by even dressing the part.

According to Waterloo police, Cannon dressed up as a woman last October and used a woman's name and identity to obtain a driver's license. He then opened a checking account at the Veridian Credit Union using the woman's identity.

Investigators say Cannon used the bogus name and identification to write over $600 in fraudulent checks at several Kwik Trip convenience stores in the Waterloo area. After about a week, his plans were interrupted when the checks were returned because the account was empty.

Cannon was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail and charged with third-degree theft, identity theft and four counts of forgery. His bond was set at $50,000.

Court records show that Cannon, a former Davenport resident, has a history of criminal infractions in Scott County. In 1996, he reportedly took a brand new Pontiac Bonneville for a test drive. He then returned the car, but kept the keys and later came back and stole the vehicle.

When officers found him in the car, he was dressed as a woman. In 2001, he took a brand new Lexus for a test drive, then pulled a knife on the sales agent riding with him, forced him out of the vehicle, and fled in the car. He was released from prison in 2008.
