Statesboro, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) - Amy Bass Jackson, a 35-year-old teacher at William James Middle School in Statesboro was jailed Wednesday after she allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old student.
According to the Bullock County Sheriff's Office, an investigation was launched after the parents of the boy learned of the relationship and filed a complaint with the Sheriffs office.
Investigators have released few details of the case, but Jackson faces a long list of charges.
She was booked into jail on charges of aggravated child molestation, statutory rape, enticing a child for indecent purposes, sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority, computer or electronic child exploitation, sexual exploitation of children and furnishing harmful materials to a minor.
