South Berwick, Maine (The Weekly Vice) - Maine State Police are asking for help in identifying the body of a little boy who was found dead along the gravel portion of Dennett Road in South Berwick, Maine.

The boy, believed to be four or five-years old, was discovered by a local resident around 5 p.m. Saturday - wearing a Faded Glory camouflaged sweatshirt, a blue 'Aviator Series' t-shirt, light khaki pants and black 'Lightning McQueen' sneakers.

Investigators believe that the person responsible for dumping the little boy's body on the road and then fleeing may have a connection to the military and have since enlisted the help of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service to help identify the boy.

The State Police Computer Crimes Unit has released this computer generated image of the boy's likeness in the hope someone might recognize him.

The boy was 3 feet, 8 inches tall and weighed 45 pounds. He had dirty blond hair and blue eyes. His baby teeth had yet to fall out.

An eyewitness told investigators that she spotted a woman driving a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Dennett Road on the day the boy's body was found. She also stated that she noticed a Navy insignia in or around the truck's license plate.

No one has reported a missing child that matches the boy's description. Investigators haven't even been alerted of an empty school desk in the area that is missing a boy fitting the victim's description.

Anyone with information about the boy's identity or the Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that was seen in the area is urged to call Maine State Police at 207-657-3030.
