Elwood City, Pennsylvania (The Weekly Vice) - Keith Wolfrey, a 23-year-old Pennsylvania man has been charged with murder after he allegedly strangled his ex-fience to death and then wrapped her face with duct tape following an dispute over a house key.
According to Ellwood City Police, officers arrived to the couple's apartment Sunday to discover 20-year-old Joie Lordi dead with her face wrapped in duct tape.
Also at the residence was Lordi's ex-boyfriend, Keith Michael Wolfrey, and the couple's six-month old son.
Investigators say Wolfrey stated that he was in the process of moving out of the couple's home the night before when the two got into an argument about a house key. He went on to say that the argument had become heated when he placed his hands around Lordi's neck and began to squeeze.
Wolfrey claims to have no memory of what happened next - stating that he suddenly passed out.
Wolfrey reportedly called 911 Sunday morning when he "woke up" to find Lordi unresponsive on the kitchen floor - and so far he seems to have no memory of how her head got covered with duct tape.
He was booked into jail without bail on charges of criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse.
Lordi's family told reporters that Wolfrey had become abusive recently and that Lordi decided to break of the couple's engagement six months after the birth of their child.
Wolfrey's strange behavior began to emerge in his Facebook postings in the last two weeks before Lordi was murdered. We've captured his comments in the screen shots above since Facebook will likely pull the page down soon.
