Hall County, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) - Daniel Moore, an 18-year-old Sugar Hill resident was jailed after he mistakenly "pocket-dialed" 911, allowing police dispatchers to overhear an alleged drug deal.
According to the the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Moore was at the Waffle House restaurant early Tuesday morning when he reportedly called 911 with his cell phone by mistake. The dispatcher who answered overheard Moore talking about a prescription drug sale over the open 911 line.
Investigators say a deputy was dispatched to the Waffle House and found Moore to be in possession of Hydrocodone and Xanax tablets. He was apprehended without incident. The case remains under investigation.
Moore was booked into the Hall County Jail and was charged with possession of Xanax and Hydrocodone.
