Monroe LeBeau Jail Booking Report
Milton, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) - Monroe LeBeau, a 28-year-old Georgia man was jailed Tuesday after he allegedly ran from police, leaving his crying 6-year-old son, a mass quantity of marijuana and $80,000 behind.
According to police, officers had stopped LeBeau for speeding when the officer approached the vehicle and detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside his car.
When the officer asked LeBeau to step to the back of the car, LeBeau took off down Morris road, leaving his son, 7 pounds of marijuana and $80,000 in the back seat of his Dodge Charger.
Investigators say LeBeau fled into a subdivision where he attempted to carjack two motorists. LeBeau was finally captured after canine units were deployed to chase him down. LeBeau was bitten twice by the dogs, but refused medical attention.
LeBeau was booked into the Fulton County Jail and charged with marijuana possession with intent to distribute, two counts of assault, attempted robbery, reckless conduct, reckless driving, speeding, driving with suspended license, obstruction of law enforcement and failure to wear a seat belt. He was released after posting a $27,900 bond.
LeBeau's arrest comes after receiving a charge for marijuana possession this past December.
