Concord, New Hampshire (The Weekly Vice) - Carissa Williams, a 22-year-old Pembroke woman was jailed Monday after she allegedly Tased a pregnant woman in an apparent road-rage incident.
According to police, things went well beyond road-rage when Williams became upset with another driver who was traveling 35 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Investigators say the attack began when both cars stopped at a red light. Williams reportedly began throwing cans and bottles at the woman's car, prompting her to dial 911.
When the two cars came to a stop again - this time on an Interstate exit ramp - Williams allegedly exited her vehicle, left her 6-month-child behind and got into the back seat of the victim's car.
She then reportedly pulled out a Taser and used it on the woman.
911 operators heard the victim screaming over her cell phone, begging Williams to stop because she was pregnant.
"Anyone who hears the story is obviously going to be very stunned," said Sgt. John Thomas. "We take any road rage incident serious, but this here goes beyond that."
Williams, who has a lengthy criminal history, was booked into jail on charges of second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
