Theodore Pulliam Wasn’t Too Bright - Beat Man To Death With Crowbar During Argument Over Light Bulb

Vero Beach, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Theodore Pulliam, a 56-year-old Florida man was jailed Monday after he allegedly picked up a crowbar and bludgeoned a man to death with it following a disagreement over a light bulb.

According to the Indian River Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out to a Vero Beach apartment on a report of a possible domestic disturbance.

When deputies arrived, they found the victim, Claude Williams, laying dead on the floor in a pool of his own blood. A crowbar was left next to his body.

Investigators say Pulliam was found at the apartment wearing blood-soaked pajamas. He told deputies that the cuts on his hands were a result of being attacked by Williams, and claimed that he never struck Williams with the crowbar.

Obviously, Williams clobbered himself to death with the crowbar before Pulliam managed to wrestle it away from him.

Neighbors told investigators they could hear Pulliam and Williams arguing about a light bulb shortly before the attack.

Detectives didn't buy Pulliam's story, taking him into custody at the scene.

Pulliam was booked into the Indian River County Jail on a charge of murder.
