Valley Stream, N. Y. (The Weekly Vice) - Melanie Spanopoulos, a 20-year-old New York woman was jailed Tuesday after she ran over her cousin to settle an argument...then backed up to make her point again.

According to Nassau County Police, Spanopoulos and her 21-year-old cousin were sitting in her car Monday when the two began arguing about a man.

As the argument heated up, the victim exited the vehicle, however Spanopoulus continued to argue, demanding that the girl get back into the car. When the cousin refused, Spanopoulos allegedly became enraged.

That's when Spanopoulos reportedly hopped back into the car, punched the accelerator, and slammed into the victim, knocking her to the pavement. Spanopoulos then threw the car into reverse and backed over the victim, just to make sure her point was clear.

Spanopoulos fled the scene leaving her wound wounded on the ground with obvious injuries.
