Daniel Lee Ruined The Appetite Of Several Tennessee Grocery Store Shoppers

Kingsport, TN (The Weekly Vice) - Daniel Lee, a 22-year-old Tennessee man, was arrested Friday after he allegedly ran butt naked through a grocery store wearing nothing but a rubber mask.

According to Kingsport police, Lee walked into an IGA grocery store Friday night and then proceeded to run through the store wearing nothing but a rubber mask.

Investigators say Lee ran about the store, exposing himself to several customers. Store employees attempted to catch Lee, however they were reportedly unable to catch him.

Store employees did manage to catch a woman who was with Lee, who identified herself as his girlfriend. Police finally caught up with Lee himself in the bathroom of a nearby Hardee's restaurant.

He reportedly entered the restaurant, begging for something to wear. An employee reportedly saved everyone's eyesight and provided Lee with a pair of shorts and an orange hoodie until police arrived to arrest him.

When investigators later asked him why he would pull such a stunt, he reportedly told them he "was bored."

Lee was booked into the Kingsport jail on charges of indecent exposure.

We imagine it was tough making bail with no clothes or wallet on him.... perhaps he received a cash advance from one of those nifty payday loan services.

Gene Dillard Was Concerned About His 1-year-old Daughter’s Safety - So He Beat The Living Tar Out Of Her

Bay Minette, Alabama (The Weekly Vice) - Gene Dillard, a 34 -year-old Alabama man, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly beat his 1-year-old daughter because she was playing with an electrical outlet.

According to the Bay Minette Police Department, officers responded to a report of possible abuse when they found the girl with swelling and bruises on her face.

Investigators say the baby's mother told officers that Dillard beat their daughter after she was caught playing with an electrical outlet in the home.

The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.

Dillard was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on a charge of torture or willful abuse of a child. His bail was set at $10,000.

Some Cougars Prefer Their Prey To Be Lethargic When They Pounce

Sarasota, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Ellen Schmaling, a 36-year-old Florida woman, was arrested Friday after she allegedly gave underage boys drugs before having sex with them.

According to the Sarasota Police Department, Schmaling traveled to a local skate park, where she met several boys (ages 12 to 15) to whom she later offered prescription drugs before having sex wtih them.

Investigators say they were notified after one boy's parents found a suspicious text message from Schmaling.

Authorities went to the skate park and spoke to employees who provided them with a list of boys who allegedly had sex with Schmaling. Three of the boys told authorities they had sex with Schmaling and she had given them prescription drugs before having sex with them.

Schmaling was booked into the Sarasota County Jail on charges of having sex with a minor between the ages of 12 and 15 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Her bond was set at $90,000.

Thomas Hudnall Had A Different Kind Of Hotel “Wake Up” Call In Mind

Miami, FL (The Weekly Vice) - Thomas Hudnall, a 62-year-old hotel employee, was jailed after he allegedly called in a bomb threat to get out of going to work.

According to Coral Gables police, 911 dispatchers received a call from Hudnall around 9 a.m., stating there was a bomb at the Biltmore Hotel and that he wished "death to all Jews".

Investigators say they were able to track the call to the executive chef's office at the hotel. Surveillance videos then led detectives to Hudnall, who worked as a janitor for the hotel.

Hudnall told police he simply wanted the hotel to be evacuated so he could get the day off from work. He went on to tell investigators that he had no intention of harming anyone.

Hudnall was booked into jail on a charge of false report of weapons of mass destruction.

Anthony Coffman Beat The Meat - Jailed Following Grocery Store Meat Massacre

Edinburgh, Indiana (The Weekly Vice) - Anthony Coffman, a 28-year-old Indiana man, was arrested Wednesday after he attacked several packages of meat, for fear little girls would become "chubby" from them.

According to Edinburgh police, officers responded to 911 calls from a Jay C. Food Store Wednesday morning with reports of a man with a knife that was "doing things" with packages of meat.

Investigators say Coffman entered the meat department of the store with a hunting knife and began slashing away at innocent packages of beef.

Slicing the meat wasn't enough for Coffman. He was seen throwing the products on the floor and pouring dog food on some of the meat to keep it from being resold.

One employee attempted to halt Coffman's activities but was reportedly threatened with the hunting knife. When he tried to flee the scene, employees tackled and held him down until police arrived.

Coffman later explained his violent behavior to police by saying that he is a vegetarian and believed that God sent him to destroy the meat because it made girls "chubby." Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Coffman had an argument with his grandmother that may have prompted the incident. It is reported that she was preparing a pot roast. Gasp!

Coffman was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation and then booked into jail on charges of
criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Couple Jailed After Replacing Jello-O Packages With Aquarium Sand In Quest For Free Jell-O

Long Island, NY (The Weekly Vice) - Alexander Clement, 68, and Christine Clement, 64, were jailed after they allegedly tampered with Jell-O Pudding Mix in an effort to get free Jell-O.

According to Suffolk County police, dozens of butterscotch and pistachio-flavored Jell-O pudding mix was replaced with aquarium sand and then returned for a refund to at least four area supermarkets.

Investigators say the couple tampered with the products and then returned them to the store in an effort to receive free Jell-O pudding mix. The couple was identified through surveillance video obtained from store.

The substance returned in the packages were deemed harmless and police do not believe the couple intended to harm anyone.

The Clements were booked into jail and charged with petit larceny and tampering with a consumer product.

Douglas Macarthur Marches To The Beat Of His Own Drummer - Charged With DUI After Gulping Down Vodka In Front Of Arresting Deputy

Martin County, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Douglas Macarthur, a 40-year-old Florida man, was arrested last Monday after gulped down a bottle of Vodka right in front of a deputy after he was pulled over for reckless driving.

According to the Martin County Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled Macarthur over after observing his vehicle swerving between lanes.

The investigating deputy approached his vehicle to find three passengers inside with Macarthur, who was visibly intoxicated. That was when Macarthur reportedly grabbed a cup from the floor while another passenger poured him a cup of Skol Vodka.

Macarthur then reportedly gulped down the Vodka right in front of the deputy.

Investigators say Macarthur was asked twice for his license but he didn't respond because is license was suspended.

He then tried to crawl under the front of the deputy's patrol car, but the deputy pulled him out and placed him under arrest. Macarthur also tried to bite the deputy while making lewd remarks and yelling.

Tests later showed Macarthur's blood alcohol content to be 0.408 - about five times the legal limit for operating a motor vehicle in Florida.

He was booked into jail on DUI charges.

Douglas Zuel Thought He Was Being Cool - Now Sharing A Steel Toilet At The Hernando County Jail

Brooksville, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Douglas Donald Zuel, a 24-year-old Florida man, was jailed Friday after he allegedly snatched $34 from a volunteer who was selling items for charity.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff''s Office, a 12-year-old volunteer was selling items for the organization Teens Against Drugs and Alcohol when Zuel reportedly snatched $34 right out of the volunteer's hand.

Investigators say Zuel was already being held at the Hernando County Jail on eight counts of shoplifting, two counts of grand theft auto and two counts of burglary when charges were filed in the case.

He was additionally charged with robbery sudden snatching.

Jennifer Goguen Hosts A Great Party - Feeding Tube Included

Lawrence, MA (The Weekly Vice) - Jennifer Goguen, a 25-year-old Lawrence woman, was jailed Saturday after police found her toddler child left alone on a feeding tube among a house full of partying teenagers.

According to police, deputies were called to an apartment because of loud partying and suspicions that someone had a gun.

Officers arrived on scene to discover over a dozen underage teenagers drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, and abusing cocaine in a dirty, deplorable apartment that had no heat.

Inside a cold room in the residence, officers found a 2-year-old toddler who had been placed on a feeding tube because of a failed kidney.

Investigators say Goguen, who is the boy's mother, showed up at the apartment shortly after police arrived. She stated that her brother, 17-year-old Jacob Ramos was supposed to be watching her son while she ran to her mother's, and that the place was clean when she left.

Goguen was booked into jail and charged with child endangerment and providing alcohol to minors.

Ramos and the other teens were booked into jail and charged with illegal possession of alcohol. Ramos was also charged with child endangerment.

The child is in the care of an aunt.

Austin Purifoy Is Looking For A New Girlfriend - His Last Relationship Stunk

Las Cruces, New Mexico (The Weekly Vice) - Austin Purifoy, an 18-year-old New Mexico man, was indicted Thursday after he allegedly defecated in a man's car, thinking it belonged to his girlfriend.

According to Las Cruces Police, officers were called when the owner of a Honda walked out to his car to discover Purifoy in the back seat pulling up his pants.

Upon seeing the car's rightful owner, Purifoy reportedly asked "This is your car? I thought this was Desiree's Car." Purifoy then allegedly fled the scene.

Investigators say the car's passenger side window had been shattered with a rock, the glove box had been ransacked and some change turned up missing.

In addition, police say, the glass door of a nearby business had been shattered by a cinder block. Footprints leading away from the business matched up with the distinctive tread pattern belonging to a pair of shoes Purifoy owned.

Officers apprehended Purifoy a short time later in a ditch. He told officers he was there because he didn't want his girlfriend, Desiree, to see him smoke.

Purifoy was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center on two counts of criminal property damage and one count of breaking and entering.

Jacoby Smith Ran Like A Wounded Dog After Beating Quadruple Amputee Woman

St. Paul, MN (The Weekly Vice)- Jacoby Laquan Smith, a 33-year-old St. Paul man, is wanted by police after he allegedly beat up a quadruple amputee because she had blocked his view of the television.

According to St. Paul police, Smith reportedly pulled a 28-year-old woman out of her wheelchair and threw her to the floor, then punched her in the face more than 10 times - all because she "blocked the T.V."

The woman reportedly tried to reach for her keys and cell phone, a difficult task already because of her disability, however Smith took both items and confined her to the apartment he and the woman share.

Investigators say the victim eventually convinced Smith to take her to a gas station to get ice for her injuries. As she was paying, she was able to tell the clerk she needed police assistance. Smith overheard the conversation and fled the scene.

The victim says she now fears for her life because Smith still has her keys and cell phone, her only means of contact in the event of an emergency.

Smith faces charges of fifth degree assault and interfering with a 911 call. Anyone with any information on his whereabouts is asked to call St. Paul police at 651-291-1111.

Gwendolyn Lowery Got The Mobile Home A Rockin’

Chesterfield County, Virginia (The Weekly Vice) - Gwendolyn Lowery, a 27-year-old Chesterfield County woman, was jailed after she was allegedly caught red-handed running a strip club for teenagers out of her mobile home.

According to Chesterfield County police, Lowery's trailer was raided after neighbors reported loud parties at the residence. Deputies caught her in the act of stripping in the living room of her mobile home, which had been converted into a strip club complete with a stripper pole.

Investigators say Lowery would offer services such as stripping, lap dances, and VIP specials to teenage customers ranging in age between 12 and 19 years old. She also reportedly had others working for her. More charges may be pending in the case.

Lowery was booked into jail on eight counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a liquor law violation. She has been released on bond.

Tabbu Fantauzzi Grabbed The Meat And Ran - Cops Charged Him With Being A Weenie

Spring Hill, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Tabbu Fantauzzi, a 36-year-old Florida man, was arrested Sunday after he allegedly stole cold cuts from a Publix grocery store.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Fantauzzi ordered three packages of cold cuts, valued at $14.70, from the deli at a Spring Hill Publix store.

After grabbing the meat, Fantauzzi fled the store and later ran from a deputy who tried to apprehend him. The man was caught after a brief foot chase.

Deputies say they found three individual packages of cold cuts in Fantauzzi's pockets.

Fantauzzi was booked into the Hernando County jail on charges of retail theft and resisting an officer without violence. His bond was set at $1,000.

Jodi Barrus - Teacher - Found Innocent Of All Charges

Belmond, Iowa (The Weekly Vice) - Jodi Lynn Barrus, the 33-year-old Belmond-Klemme High School teacher who was accused of having sex with a male student has been cleared of all charges.

Barrus, who was arrested by Wright County Sheriff's deputies in March 2010 on charges of sexual exploitation of a student, has maintained her innocence since the investigation began.

"They came to my classroom and just made the assumption that I had sexual relations with a student," said Barrus. "He obviously had some type of infatuation. He thought I'd go to the prom with him and when I said 'absolutely not' I think he got very hurt and very angry and honestly the lie just got bigger and bigger."

Barrus, in a recent interview following the trial, explained that she sent text messages to the student, however those messages were part of a bulk mail that had been emailed to parents and other students.  The content of the messages usually addressed school closures and scheduled events.

She was initially confident that law enforcement would be able to obtain the content of the messages, however, it was later learned that investigators were only able to capture the time stamps of each message, not the content of them.

"It then became my word against his," said Barrus.

At trial, defense attorney Derek Johnson stressed the lack of physical evidence and the student's history of making up stories as key parts of Barrus' defense. During closing arguments, Johnson pointed out 50 inconsistent statements that the boy reportedly made to law enforcement officers, friends and witnesses.

A Wright County District Court jury was able to come to a verdict in less than an hour. NOT GUILTY.

Barrus had been a social studies teacher and coach with the school district for 11 years. She was awarded coach of the year honors in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

In the aftermath of the trial, Mrs. Barrus and her family are struggling with a ruined reputation that often comes with high profile cases that are built on fabricated allegations.

She and her family are painfully aware that although she was declared innocent at trial, there will always be people who believe she is guilty and simply "got away with it."

To make matters worse, the cost of her defense has exceeded $30,000.

She plans to stay in Belmond and has stated that she would like to be retained as a teacher with the district.

John White Went To Jail Over Two Phones And Wheelbarrow Full Of Stoopid

Orem, Utah (The Weekly Vice) - John White, a hooped earring clad Utah man was jailed Tuesday after he robbed a convenience store of two phones and then flagged down the investigating officer to ask for directions.

According to Orem police, the day's festivities began when White reportedly walked into the Maverick gas station in Orem and asked the attendant if he could use the phone.

The attendant let White use the store's cordless phone, however when White complained it didn't work, the clerk gave him his cell phone to use. When the clerk turned to help another customer, that's when White reportedly fled the scene with both phones.

Investigators say they arrived at the gas station to take a report when they discovered White had left one small clue behind. A piece of paper containing an address.

Investigators were en route to the address, hoping to find White, when the officer encountered a motorist along the way who flagged the officer down. The man reportedly asked the officer for directions to an address - yes, the same address which had been written on the paper left at the crime scene.

What's more, the man's description matched the description given by the gas station attendent and the man was in possession of two phones. Yeah, it really doesn't get much dumber than this.

White was booked into jail on suspicion of theft and marijuana possession.

Jonathan Gibson May Soon Be Back On The Market - Most Eligible Bachelor, He Isn’t

Rogersville, Virginia (The Weekly Vice) - Jonathan Paul Gibson, of Rogersville, was arrested Wednesday after he bit, punched, and then beat his wife with an iron skillet.

According to the Hawkins County Sheriff's Office, Jonathan and his estranged wife, Samantha Gibson, had arrived at a residence Wednesday night to pick up some personal items.

Investigators say an argument broke out between the two when Samantha discovered the cap to a needle in the bathroom. That's when Jonathon reportedly became enraged and assaulted his wife.

Deputies say Jonathan pushed the woman to the ground, put a knife to her throat, and told her he was going to kill her, their daughter and then himself. The couple's daughter was also in the residence at the time.

Jonathan then reportedly moved the knife across the woman's stomach in a slicing motion with the blade turned towards her. He then bit the woman on the forehead, punched her in the head, and struck her with an iron skillet.

The woman told police she was able to get to a phone and call her father, who arrived on scene to find Jonathan and Samantha in the front yard with his hands around her neck. The father tackled Jonathan and held him on the ground until police could arrive.

Jonathan Gibson was booked into jail on a charge of aggravated assault. He currently remains in jail without bail pending a bond hearing. He is scheduled to appear on April 5th.

Thomas And Kristian Were Grooming A Toking Toddler

Middletown, Connecticut (The Weekly Vice) - Thomas Way, 22, and Kristian Augeri, 23, have been jailed after police discovered a video recording that showed the couple's 3-year-old child inhaling from a marijuana pipe.

According to Middletown police, officers executed a search warrant of the couple's home after a witness reported the couple had taken photos of their child smoking from a pot pipe and that the child knew how to crush pills and roll up a dollar bill.

Investigators say that, while searching the couple's home, they discovered a video camera with a recording that confirmed their suspicions.

The video reportedly showed the couple's child attempting to light a glass smoking pipe. Way could be seen in the video laying next to the boy. At one point, Way reportedly told the child he was getting spit all over the pipe.

He then took the pipe away, wiped it off and handed it back to the child, say police.

While investigators do not believe the boy succeeded in lighting the pipe, the video did seem to show the child inhaling and then coughing afterward.

"He wasn't smoking anything. The police were misinformed," said the child's aunt, who is now reportedly watching the child in his parent's absence.

Way and Augeri now face multiple charges including risk of injury to a minor and use of drug paraphernalia. They are scheduled to appear in court April 15th.

So lets see if we have this straight... A couple is shoving a marijuana pipe in the mouth of a toddler - yet the only thing the kid's aunt can think to complain about is that the child didn't succeed in lighting the pipe and smoking it.

And if that don't grab you.... this dumblefuck aunt has now been given temporary custody of the child? She has my vote of confidence.... how about you?

Zephyrhills, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Fania Robinson, a 29-year-old Florida woman was arrested Monday for dumping a pot of boiling water on a man during an argument.

According to the Zephyrhills Police Department, Robinson was cooking on the stove when she became infuriated with the man and threw a scalding pot of water on him. The man received third-degree burns on his chest and arms.

Robinson was booked into the Pasco County jail on charges of aggravated battery. Bail was set at $10,000.

Albert Bailey Ordered His Bank Loot “To Go”

Fairfield, CT (The Weekly Vice) - Albert Bailey, a 27-year-old Bridgeport man and his 16-year-old unidentified accomplice were jailed after they allegedly attempted to rob a bank after calling ahead of time for a "money bag to go".

According to Fairfield police, two men called the People's United Bank in Fairfield to inform employees that they were on their way to rob it. They reportedly instructed employees to have a bag ready with $100,000 in large bills and no dye pack, or there would be a "blood bath" when they arrived.

The suspects arrived at the bank about 10 minutes later, handing the teller a note demanding the cash. Employees, however had already placed a call to police.

Bailey attempted to flee the scene after employees handed him a bag containing $900 and the dye pack he didn't want included. He was instead confronted by police who had arrived on scene just as he was attempting his getaway.

Bailey then dropped the bag of money on the ground, which caused the dye pack to explode.

Bailey tried to jump into a car driven by his accomplice however, the vehicle was stopped at the scene and both suspects were arrested without further incident.

Bailey and his accomplice were booked into jail on charges of first-degree robbery and threatening in the first degree. Bailey is currently on probation for a previous bank hold-up.

Xiao Wei Survives After Gang Members Plunge Knife Into His Skull

Mishazi, Jilin province, China (The Weekly Vice) - Xiao Wei, a 16-year-old China man, survived an attack by a local gang last week after refusing to load unauthorized software onto the computers of the Internet cafe where he worked.

According to Chinese media, the gang asked Wei to load illegal software onto the store’s computers in an attempt to beat the teenager’s record high score on the video game Counter Strike. The gang had accused him of cheating.

When Wei refused, a fight ensued and Wei had a kitchen knife plunged through his left temple.

Doctors at the 2nd Affiliated Hospital at Jilin University were stunned when Wei entered the facility with the help of friends who were holding him up. Doctors initially thought it was a student prank until the teenager collapsed.

"His face was covered in blood, but he was still conscious,” said Prof Yan Shijun, the hospital’s deputy director of neurosurgery.

Surgeons operated on him for two hours to remove the blade. X-rays and CAT scans confirmed the blade had not hit any main arteries or nerves.

Police are examining security CCTV of the attack while doctors say the teenager is likely to make a full and miraculous recovery.

Krystal Gardner Used A Baby To Stop The Repo Man

Dallas, TX (The Weekly Vice) - Krystal Gardner, a 28-year-old Dallas woman was jailed Monday after she allegedly attempted to throw her 1-year-old through the open window of a moving car to prevent it from being repossessed.

According to Dallas police, Luke Ross came to Gardner's residence around 4:00 p.m. and attempted to repossess a vehicle.

Investigators say Ross was pulling the vehicle away when Gardner threw her child into an open window, hoping to stop the repossession.

Ross immediately parked the vehicle and started to get out when Jessie Reyna, Gardner's 15-year-old son, came out of the house with a 12-gauge shotgun and fired one round in the air, then another at Ross, shooting him in the leg.

Ross suffered minor injuries, but still managed to repossess the vehicle.

Gardner was booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault and child endangering. She also had several outstanding traffic warrants. She is being held in lieu of $4,000 bail.

Her son was also charged with aggravated assault.

Child Protective Services are investigating the situation further to determine appropriate actions for the infant.

Carly Houston To Naperville 911 “Help, I’m Trapped Inside A Jail”

Naperville, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) - Carly Houston, a 29-year-old Illinois woman astonished emergency responders when she dialed 911 to complain she "was trapped."

Trapped inside the jail at the Naperville police station that is.

According to Naperville police, Houston was arrested after she got into an early morning tussle with an area cab driver.

Investigators say a cab driver was attempting to ascertain the woman's desired destination when she reportedly "yelled, screamed, cursed and extended middle fingers at the cab driver" while threatening bodily harm.

When the driver dropped Houston off at a local gas station, she reportedly became disruptive and refused to pay the cab fare, attracting police attention and a subsequent arrest.

A police officer brought Houston to the police station and supplied her with a phone to make bail arrangements. Instead, Houston opted to call to 911.

Houston reached Naperville police dispatchers who say she pleaded for help because she was "trapped inside the detention facility."

Houston was booked into jail on charges of theft of labor or services, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and making a false 911 report. She is scheduled to appear in court April 20.

Kevin Roach Threw A Jail House Temper Tantrum - Flooded Jail Because He Didn’t Get A Drink Quickly Enough

Land O’Lakes, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Kevin Allen Roach, a 21-year-old Pasco County jail inmate, flooded a dozen jail cells and drenched medical and kitchen units below his floor Saturday after using a cord to break a ceiling sprinkler because he was thirsty.

According to Pasco County Sheriff's office, Roach told jail deputies he removed the sprinkler's temperature gauge, causing the sprinkler system to activate, because he was upset he didn't receive the water he asked for. Deputies also say Roach flooded the toilet in his cell and tried to flood his shower.

Investigators say Roach has been in the jail since May, when he was arrested and charged with grand theft and burglary for stealing and stripping docked boats as part of a New Port Richey boat theft ring.

Roach is now charged with obstructing fire extinguish equipment and criminal mischief.

Codie Bellamy-Owens Was “Just Being Stupid” - Gets Bonus Points For Excessive Honesty

Church Hill, TN (The Weekly Vice) - Codie Lea Bellamy-Owens, a 22-year-old Tennessee woman was jailed after she embezzled over $5,000 from a Kingsport Captain D's, because she was.....she was....

Well, apparently for no other reason but because she "was stupid."

According to Kingsport police, Captain D's contacted police after an employee allegedly spotted Owens on a surveillance video stealing money from a register she was operating. A check of the register revealed that $400 was missing.

That incident led to the discovery of over $5,000 that was missing since January 1st, which computerized register records showed were all linked to Owens.

Investigators say when they confronted Owens, she admitted to taking the cash, but didn't know the total amount she had stolen. When asked if financial difficulties caused her to steal the money, she stated "No, I was just stupid".

Owens was booked into jail on a charge of theft over $1,000.

Randall White Broke His 7-Week-Old Son While Mommy Stood By

Albion, Illinois (The Weekly Vice) - Randall White, a 22-year-old Illinois man pleaded guilty Tuesday to child abuse charges after he admitted to breaking his 7-week old son's limbs and then pinching the child's "gurgle spot" in an attempt to keep the child from crying out.

According to Illinois State Police, the alleged abuse came to light when doctors at Fairfield Memorial Hospital discovered the child's arm was fractured and determined the injuries could not have been self-inflicted.

The child was then transferred to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis where it was discovered the child was also suffering from a broken thigh bone. An extended examination of the child revealed the infant had three healing fractures to both arms and right leg.

Investigators interviewed White who told them he sometimes placed his hand over the boy's mouth to quiet him. He reportedly added that he used his thumb and forefinger to pinch the child's "gurgle spot" to stop him from crying.

After receiving treatment at Cardinal Glennon Hospital, the child was taken into protective custody by Illinois DCF.

On Tuesday, March 23rd, White pleaded guilty to abuse charges - admitting he had broken his son's arm and leg.

The child's mother, Bethany Mendenhall, 20, was also taken into custody when authorities determined she "allowed her son to be placed in the immediate care and supervision" of White, while knowing he had repeatedly injured the child.

White was booked into the White County Jail on two felony counts of aggravated battery of a child. Sentencing in his case has been set for April 30.

Mendenhall was booked on a misdemeanor charge of child endangerment. She is free on a $300 bond pending an April 9th hearing on her case.

Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Shanise McCray, 21, Tabitha Barnes, 19, and Antonio Miller, 36, were jailed after they allegedly attempted to sell fake tickets for a non-existent rap concert.

According to Tampa police, the suspects sold tickets to a concert that they said would be scheduled at Club Nouveau, a Tampa area night club.

Performances were purported to include Trick Daddy, Yung Joc, and Trey Songz. Tickets were sold to customers for $10-$15 each for general admission and $45 or more for VIP.

Questions were raised after a close look at the tickets revealed numerous and obvious misspellings and errors. Customers learned they had been scammed when they called the club and were told no such concert was scheduled to take place.

Investigators say the trio's activities were halted after an undercover officer bought $300 worth of tickets from them. Interviews with the women revealed Miller was the "brain child" behind the operation. Each had 30-40 fraudulent tickets in their possession when they were arrested.

Barnes was booked into jail and charged with organized fraud and grand theft. She was released after posting $4,000 bond.

McCray was booked into jail and charged with organized fraud, grand theft, and possession of marijuana. She was released on $4,500 bail.

Miller was booked into Hillsborough County Jail and charged with organized fraud, grand theft, contempt of court for non-payment of child support, marijuana possession, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He remains jailed without bond.
