Ethan Ogden Was Stomping Mad - Jailed After Stomping Infant When Child’s Mother Took Too Long To Pay His Bills

Muncie, Indiana (The Weekly Vice) - Ethan Ogden, a 19-year-old Indiana man was jailed Wednesday after he stomped his girlfriends 8-week-old baby because the child's mother was taking too long to run errands.

According to police, Ogden was left in charge of the child Wednesday while his girlfriend ran errands and paid bills.

Investigators say Ogden became upset when his girlfriend took too long and retaliated by repeatedly stomping the infant. The child suffered a broken leg, bruising and a black eye as a result.

Ogden initially stated the child had fallen from a jumper chair, however, he eventually admitted to stomping the girl's leg out of frustration.

"Ethan stated he wanted to hurt (the baby) but not seriously injure (the baby) because he loved her," according to the arrest report.

The child was rushed to the Ball Memorial Hospital after the mother returned home and noted the injuries.

Ogden was booked into jail on charges of battery on a juvenile and neglect of a dependant.
