Amsterdam (The Weekly Vice) - Having rebellious teen troubles? Just remember, it could always be worse. And for an Amsterdam family it did get worse.
Stephanie Szasz, a 17-year-old Amsterdam teen and her friend 18-year-old Paul Dietrich were jailed after they allegedly trashed her parent's house when she was left home alone.
According to Amsterdam Police, officers were called when neighbors reported hearing and seeing the windows of a neighbor's home being broken from the inside.
When officers arrived, every window in the home was shattered. The home's walls and ceiling were filled with holes, electronic equipment was smashed and cans of spray paint had been used to graffiti much of the home's interior.
Two teens inside the home attempted to flee, but were apprehended and taken into custody. An identification check revealed the arsonist was none other than the home owner's own daughter who apparently decided to trash her parent's home while they were away on vacation.
The teens were jailed on charges of criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
