Lexington County, Virginia (The Weekly Vice) - Curtis Maroney, a 51-year-old licensed bondsman, was arrested after he allegedly posted a woman's bond in exchange for some light housework and sexual favors.
According to Lexington County police, Maroney provided a $16,122.50 bond for a 39-year-old Lexington woman on August 12th, on condition that the woman do housework and provide sexual favors for for him.
Police say Maroney allegedly held the woman against her will on the threat of revoking her bond until August 17th when the victim requested that Maroney take her to visit her two children at her father's place.
Authorities say Maroney allegedly took the victim to visit her children but he waited outside in his vehicle. The woman called police once inside the residence to alert them of her situation.
Maroney was booked in the Lexington County Detention Center on charges of blackmail and trafficking in persons for forced labor or services. He is being ordered held with out bond.
According to the Lexington County Detention Center inmates list, Maroney is listed as a female. No word on whether or not that's a typo and a fake goatee.
