St. Petersburg, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Michael Cline, 19, and Andrew Harris, 18, were arrested Thursday after they allegedly trespassed onto hotel grounds and defecated in the hotel swimming pool.
According to Pasco County police, officers were called when hotel guards watched the men allegedly make their deposits in the hotel pool.
When officer's arrived, they found Cline and Harris in the hotel's hot tub.
Investigators say Harris admitted that they were not guests of the establishment but said that they did go there frequently to swim. Both Cline and Harris have allegedly denied the allegations of contaminating the pool.
Hotel staff were forced to close down, drain and decontaminate the pool.
Hotel management has said other similar incidents with the pool have occurred recently, forcing the hotel to clean the pool and compensate some guests.
Harris and Cline were arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail on charges of felony commercial burglary. Bond has been set at $10,000.
