Mark Belkola Jail Booking Spring Hill, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Mark Belkola, a 51-year-old Spring Hill man, was arrested last Saturday after he allegedly tried to steal 6 packages of steaks, Vaseline, and a bottle of pomegranate juice by shoving them down his shorts.
According Hernando County Sheriff's, deputies were called after Publix store employees watched Belkola use his shorts as a shopping cart.
A store employee reportedly confronted Belkola after he left the store, but he attempted to run to his car and flee the scene. A customer helped the employee hold Belkola until deputies arrived.
Investigators say Belkola was found to have 6 individually packaged steaks, Vaseline, and a bottle of juice hidden in his shorts.
"I'm starving. I'm starving. That is why I took the steaks," stated Belkola, according to the arrest report.
Belkola was booked in the Hernando County Jail and charged with retail theft.
