South Windsor, Connecticut (The Weekly Vice) - Kendl Murphy, a 43-year-old Wethersfield woman was jailed Thursday after she reportedly tried to deposit cocaine into her bank account.
According to South Windsor police, Murphy pulled up to the drive-thru teller at Rockville Bank in South Windsor and handed the teller an envelope containing a small bag with white powder.
Investigators say Murphy was asked to "wait for the transaction to be completed" while bank employees called the police. A test conducted at the scene revealed the powder to be cocaine.
Murphy was booked into jail and charged with possession of a narcotic. An additional charge was added because she was in possession within 1,500 feet of a school or daycare. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
Interestingly, drug tests showed Murphy was not under the influence of cocaine at the time of her arrest.
