Jacksonville, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Former Burger King employees Woody Duclos, 20, and Bryant Keith Jones, 32, were jailed after Duclos placed pain pills into at least two sandwiches, which he then served to customers.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a 21-year-old Southside woman contacted authorities after she reportedly took a bite out her chicken sandwiches only to find it had been garnished with a blue pill. Although she reportedly did not swallow the pill, investigators say she suffered a seizure as a result requiring emergency care at a local hospital.

In a seperate incident, a 58-year-old Orange Park man reportedly found a similar blue pill in his fish sandwich. Both sandwiches were made by Duclos, who had recently been suspended for misconduct according to a store supervisor.

Jones was implicated in the case after it was discovered he had sold three hydrocodone pills to Duclos for $10 earlier in the day. He was booked into jail and charged with purchase or possession of controlled substance with intent to sell and accessory after the fact. His bond was set at $25,000. He is due to appear in court on July 8th.

Duclos was booked into jail and charged with two counts of poisoning food with intent to kill or injure someone. He was sentenced last week to five years in state prison.

Both men were fired from their jobs, according to a Burger King spokesperson.
