Kathryn Hudson Jail Booking
Port St. Lucie, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Kathryn Hudson, a 22-year-old Florida woman, was jailed Tuesday after telling deputies that the "tooth fairy" gave her money.
According to Port St. Lucie Police, Hudson was arrested after she met an undercover officer at Burger King to complete a $440 oxycodone transaction.
Investigators say Hudson was taken down after handing the officer a bag of pills and accepting the cash. During a search, officers also discovered an alprazolam pill inside a pill crusher and $1,300 cash.
When asked where she acquired the cash, the unemployed Hudson reportedly answered by saying "The tooth fairy gave it to her," according to police Sgt. Robert Fonteyn.
Hudson was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on felony charges of trafficking oxycodone, illegal use of a two-way communication device and possession of alprazolam.
