Russell Feeler - Cops A Plea After Telling Police He Hid A Video Camera Under His Teenage Daughter’s Bed To Watch For Boys

Kingman, Arizona (The Weekly Vice) - Russell Feeler, a 59-year-old Arizona man who claimed he put a video camera under his teenage daughter's bed to watch for boys pleaded guilty to a reduced charge on Thursday.

According to court records, Feeler was incarcerated at the Mohave County Jail in September after his 15-year-old step-daughter discovered a camera hidden underneath her bed. The girl informed a school counselor who in turn contacted police.

Investigators say the girl told the counselor that it wasn't the first time Feeler had taped her, however she thought her mother had put an end to the problem. The girl's mother was reportedly out of town during the week the camera was found.

Despite Feeler's claim that the camera was to be used watch out for boys, no explanation has been given as to why the camera was pointed at the girl's bathroom instead of a door or window.

Feeler entered an Alford plea to five counts of surreptitious videotaping and attempted sexual conduct with a minor under 15. An Alford plea allows a defendant to plea a case without admitting guilt, while acknowledging the prosecution would likely prevail at trial.

Under the terms of the Alford plea, Feeler will be sentenced to probation, however the probationary period has yet to be decided.

The wife reportedly attended the hearing with her husband while the daughter in question has moved out of state.
