Leah Osborne Loved The Animals, But They Didn’t Love Her - Charged With DUI After Attempting To Befriend Racoon

Stillwater, Oklahoma (The Weekly Vice) Leah Osborne, a 27-year-old Oklahoma woman, was arrested for DUI after she allegedly tried to place a stray raccoon in her car that apparently wasn't fond of her company.

According to the Stillwater Police Department, Osborne was driving drunk when she spotted a raccoon alongside the road, picked it up and placed it inside her car.

Investigators say the raccoon apparently wasn't happy and proceeded to growl and bare its teeth. When Osborne opened her door, the raccoon jumped out and hid under her car.

Officers were called to the scene where they discovered an intoxicated Osborne trying to coax the raccoon out from under her car and an open bottle of Vodka inside it.

She was given a field sobriety test, which she failed, followed by a breath test which registered a .37 B.A.C. (almost five times the legal limit).

Osborne was booked into the Stillwater Jail on a charge of DUI and possession of a revoked driver’s license.
