Constance Rawls To Boyfriend: “I Don’t Want To Kill You, But I Will” - Attacks Boyfriend With Weed Eater

Pace, Florida (The Weekly Vice) – Constance Rawls, a 49-year-old Florida woman, was arrested after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend then threatened to kill him with a weed eater.

According to the Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office, the incident occurred on June 11 after the suspect’s live-in boyfriend, Joe Flowers called police.

Investigators say Flowers told the deputy that he returned home from working in Mississippi and found Rawls very drunk. Rawls started yelling at him about money.

Flowers went out onto the porch and Rawls followed him out, pushing him and yelling “you never give me anything.”

Flowers went back into the house and again Rawls followed him and elbowed him in the back. In the kitchen, Rawls threw several items at him and said “I don’t want to kill you, but I will.”

Rawls pushed Flowers again and as he tried to grab her arm to stop her, she bit his right arm near his wrist. After biting him, Rawls went outside and came back into the house with a weed eater yelling ““I’ll kill you.” She then came at him with the weed whacker.

Flowers was able to get into the bedroom and lock the door and Rawls threw the weed eater at the door, which caused a large dent in the door.

Rawls was booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery. Her bond was set at $6000.
