Lincoln, NE (The Weekly Vice) - Anna Mae Godfrey, a 21-year-old Lincoln woman, was jailed Wednesday after she allegedly bit off part of a man's ear because he called her fat.
According to Lincoln police, Godfrey was leaving a party around 3:00 a.m. when three men in their 20s reportedly began to argue with the other party-goers.
Investigators say one of the men, 24-year-old Christian Bandiola, called Godfrey fat. In retaliation, she ran half a block and tackled the man, then bit off part of his right ear, leaving a gash measuring approximately 1/2 inches by 3/4 of an inch.
The missing piece of ear was never found. Bandiola will now likely require plastic surgery to repair the damage.
Godfrey was booked into jail and charged with first-degree assault.

Talk about a huge overreaction. She obviously feels that she is fat, otherwise she would have had not problem blowing off the comment. Do something to improve your self image, don't destroy yourself more!

Wow, what a traumatic experience. Can you imagine something like that big, fat, ugly, pink hair and all thundering down the sidewalk coming after you to eat you alive? That poor guy will probably be in therapy for the rest of his life - so will his friends. I'll probably have nightmares now too just thinking about it.
She may be obese, but not too fat that she's not willing to literally run half a block just for a bite.

As I do agree with most of you in saying that there were better ways to handle the comments I feel we should all treat each other with respect and courtesy! Why must you all go to extreme lengths to call her names? How is her weight or looks affecting YOUR life? Just goes to show that people show their true ignorance to make themselves feel and look better then others.
