Houston, TX (The Weekly Vice) - Kevin Sellars, a 49-year-old Houston man infected with HIV was jailed Friday after he allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old boy who was unaware of his condition.
According to Houston police, Sellars used his Myspace account, which is no longer available, to contact a 15-year-old boy from Indiana. After they established a relationship, Sellars paid for the teen to fly out to his Houston area apartment, where he sexually assaulted the boy multiple times.
Sellars showed he was a real class act when the relationship began going downhill.
The boy reportedly received a MySpace message from Sellars stating: "I have HIV. You probably do too. Have a nice life". The teen's grandparents alerted police.
During a search of Sellars' residence, investigators reportedly found child pornography in a briefcase and medical records stating he was infected with HIV. Records indicate Sellars knew of his condition before he abused the child.
Sellars was booked into jail and charged with possession of child pornography and "aggravated" sexual assault of a child.
The charge was enhanced to "aggravated" because Sellars used his body as a deadly weapon (HIV bodily fluids).
It is currently unknown if the teen has contracted the disease.

Damage a 15 year old child physically mentally, as well as emotionally. We all know where this sick F**k needs to be and hopefully he ends up there.
So WTF is up with the kid's parents? Who let's their 15 year old kid fly to texas alone? Parenting fail on this one.
This story has angered me beyond belief! I cannot believe that a person could be so cruel. I can't even think of anything else to write now.

I think that his parents aren't around. The police were notified via his grandparents. Poor kid, they were probably tired from the first generation of child rearing, and he had no boundries.
Putting the quote in red italics was a nice touch. I doubt the boy contracted hiv. I had full unprotected intercourse with a girl who told me in advance she was a positive, I gambled and won. It was the best I had mainly because the risk I knew I was taking.

To "the local", why would you brag about having unprotected s*x with someone you knew had HIV? Were you willing to raise the baby if one resulted from your encounter and she'd died?
Also, homosexual men tend to pass HIV on easier, due to such things as rectal tearing and bleeding, which makes them more prone to HIV. I am not bashing on gays here; just stating a fact.

God Laura you make a good point. I don't know, I'd make a horrible father so I guess if a baby resulted it may have been given to an orphanage where it would at least have a chance. Here's what I know: when you're in the heat of the moment the last thing you're thinking about is "am I making a baby."

Kitty...I read these stories at work so I have to read fast! I missed the part about the grandparents. You do have a point about them. It would be tough to raise kids again at that age... My gparents on both sides of the family have both raised some of their gkids. One side is very strict and old fashioned. And on the other side I have seen my cousin take advantage of the fact that my gparents are too old and worn out to stay on top of them all the time.
