Bay Minette, Alabama (The Weekly Vice) - Gene Dillard, a 34 -year-old Alabama man, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly beat his 1-year-old daughter because she was playing with an electrical outlet.
According to the Bay Minette Police Department, officers responded to a report of possible abuse when they found the girl with swelling and bruises on her face.
Investigators say the baby's mother told officers that Dillard beat their daughter after she was caught playing with an electrical outlet in the home.
The girl was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.
Dillard was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on a charge of torture or willful abuse of a child. His bail was set at $10,000.

The girl would have been better off playing with the receptacle.
What he is lacking in intelligence, he more than makes up for in stupidity.
We could plug him in to an electric chair and teach the 1 year-old about the dangers of electricity.
This actually happened to me. I blew a fuse and didn't get hurt until my parents beat me with random household items.
