Robin Hood - Charged With Identify Theft

Denver, CO (The Weekly Vice) - Robin Joshua Hood, a 34-year-old Denver man was jailed after he allegedly found a wallet and stole the identity of it's owner because he didn't want to be arrested.

According to Denver police, Hood was leaving the Independent Records store on Colfax Ave. when security guards stopped him for stealing three baseball caps totaling $44.97 in value.

Police were called to the scene, and recovered three injection devices in Hood's pants pocket during a search. He admitted to using them for heroin.

When asked what his name was, Hood assumed the identity of the owner of a wallet he found in downtown Denver sometime prior to the incident.

Hood then confessed to his real identity, and stated that he didn't want officers to arrest him because he was wanted out of Denver for drug violations.

Officers later located the owner of the wallet, who said he lost his wallet with his driver's license and identification around the 14th of Dec. and did not know who Hood was.

Hood was booked into jail and charged with identity theft and criminal impersonation. Bond information was not available.

Poor Robin Hood looks really pissed in the picture. If the Sheriff of Nottingham would have only left him alone to finish his duties of robbing the rich to support his poor ass he probably would have been alot happier.

That is truly the face of hopelessness and despair. If I were him I too would want someone elses identity.
