Holly Hill, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - John Leonard Waters, a 22 -year-old Volusia County man was arrested for punching his 3-month-old son in the stomach twice and slapping him across the mouth.
According to police, Waters, his girlfriend, and the baby were sleeping on their bed when the baby woke up and started crying.
Waters reportedly rolled over and punched the infant twice in the stomach with a closed fist then slapped the baby across the mouth because he would not stop crying.
Waters' girlfriend saw him hit the baby and took the infant to the home of Waters' mother, who called police.
When police went to Waters' apartment, he admitted punching and slapping the baby.
The baby was hospitalized with five fractured ribs.
Waters was booked in the Volusia County Branch Jail charged with aggravated child battery. Bond was set at $50,000.

i know him.he was off his meds looking for a job.like he said he try to give the baby the bottle.at least he told the truth thats what mattered.yes it hurts to see what i heard n read,he is still a person.he did not run.he plend guity.so shut the **** up...
if this is what he does when he is off his meds then he should never be off of them and he should not be allowed around children if he is. if he was really trying to find a job then maybe he should have started by cutting that greasy blue hair of his and shaving off his peach fuzz. oh he should also quit using drugs.
