Carpentersville, IL (The Weekly Vice) - 20-year-old Fernando Carrillo and 21-year-old Roberto Carrillo were jailed after they allegedly robbed a jewelry store, then left a trail of footprints in the snow that led police straight to them.
According to Carpentersville police, around 1:30 a.m. a broken front window set off the burglar alarm at Arturo's Jewelry on Kennedy Drive.
When officers arrived on the scene, they followed two sets of footprints leading from the back door of the store to the Ollie Court apartment complex, at least a mile away.. The suspects were still outside when police arrived, standing in their own footprints. About 50 pieces of jewelry worth around $2000 were found in their pockets, according to investigators.
The Carrillos were booked into the Kane County jail and each charged with one count of class 2 felony burglary. They are both being held in lieu of %10 of a $50,000 bond each.

No one ever accuse criminals of being brain surgeons. I see such types all the time. BTW, sorry for my absence. I had issues to resolve.
The cops probably showed up just as they turned around and realized that they had left the footprints that led directly to them. Doh!
It doesn't snow in Mexico. The criminals were caught off guard.
eh, something better pulled off during spring thaw?
If you have to steal for a living you will have a short life. These Bozo's don't have much of a future.
Green card please?
