Las Vegas, NV (The Weekly Vice) - Andrew Mendoza, a 21- year-old Nevada man was arrested Tuesday on charges he bit and beat a 3-month-old child.
According to Metro Police, officers responded to Mendoza's home on a report of an unresponsive child on Tuesday. When officers arrived on scene, they discovered the child had been transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Investigators say the child was treated for abdominal injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. The child was also found to have multiple injuries consistent with human bite marks.
Mendoza, who is the infant's father, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on eight counts of child abuse, child abuse with substantial bodily harm, child neglect and child endangerment.

This story and similar ones of child abuse on months-old-babies really get under my skin. What kind of man could hit and bite a defenseless baby?! His own baby at that! I pray that this child is put in safe hands and never has to endure such a horrible assault at the hands of this asshole again!!! Coward!

the worst part about this all is i knew him for several years and i could never see him doing this... and now the worst part is i hope he gets everything he deserves... because there is nothing a 3 month old could do to you to have you cause you to do such a thing... may the little baby rest in the arms of god... it was to early for her to go
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around him going after a three-month old infant. I have no idea how a niece or nephew when he or she was that age could piss me off that much.

Just makes my skin crawl with how disgusted I am with cases like this! SO many people in the world that would provide anything and everything for a child cry for babies and can't have them, but there is a countless amount of children stuck with assholes like this! DISGUSTING!
Dang! This is the 9th set of comments I've seen this morning where someone claimed to have known the perpetrator. Either there are a WHOLE LOT of people who are (1) not choosy about the company they keep AND (2) check in this website regularly to keep up with family and friends, OR there is at least one lying Internet troll at work here.
