Spam King Ronald Scelson Branches Out Into Alleged Rape Of 14-Year-Old Girl

Slidell, Louisiana (The Weekly Vice) - Ronald Scelson, a 36-year-old man from Slidell, Louisiana, was arrested last week after a months-long investigation into the rape and false imprisonment of a 14-year-old girl. Slidell police officers busted him on counts of molesting a juvenile, forced rape, marijuana possession, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing a weapon while in possession of narcotics.

The Slidell police department's press release indicates that the investigation began in March, soon after Mardi Gras week, which ended on February 24th, Mardi Gras Day. According to department spokesman Kevin Foltz, the 14-year-old victim indicated that she was handcuffed to a chair and sexually assaulted at 1831 Third St. in Slidell, where Scelson has a business. She then reportedly told a friend about the incident and the friend told the victim’s mother. The mother immediately alerted Slidell police, who have been looking into the matter ever since.

During a raid of Scelson's home and office last week, police seized three laptops, twelve desktop computers, seven external hard drives and ten Internet servers. A search of the suspect's vehicle turned up the drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to the press release.

The police expressed great public concern about the amount of seized equipment, stating that it is possible that some of the computers will be found to have indecent material on their drives. It is also possible, given the victim's claim several chat windows were open on the computers during the assault, that Scelson uploaded images of the incident directly to the Internet.

But one thing that seems to have escaped the attention of the local police force is Scelson's previous run-ins with the law. An anti-spam blog identified him in 2004 as being the Cajun Spam King, the self-proclaimed "most prolific spammer on the planet." Ironically, the blog screed warned readers not to harass Scelson with an outpouring of pornographic mailings to his home address because of his wife and three kids.

Another site quotes him as saying about his illegal spamming activities: "I will do everything I can for them not to find me to shut me down. I can stay up like this for years, and they'll never totally lock on to me."

Meanwhile, Scelson has been booked into the St. Tammany Parish Jail, bond unknown.

Phillip Wagner Knocked On Heaven’s Door - Got Reject Notice Instead

Largo, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Phillip Glenn Wagner, a 54-year-old Largo man was arrested early Saturday morning after crashing his car into a church school building. Told police he was trying to kill himself so he could "be closer to Jesus."

According to Largo police, Wagner intentionally drove his car into the Faith United Methodist Church, causing more than $20,000 in damage..

Wagner reportedly told police he decided to ram the church after church staff members refused to help him in a time of need. He said he wanted to be "closer to Jesus" according to the arrest report.

Church administrator, Brian Smawley, stated he had never had contact with Wagner in the past.

Largo police say the crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m.. Sunday services went proceeded as scheduled because the crash didn't involve the worship building.

Wagner was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on a charge of criminal mischief to a place of worship. His bond was set at $5,000.

Noticed on his jail booking report a that he has a tattoo which reads "Cherry Lover". While I suppose there's a slight chance he really does love fruit, we're pretty sure that's not the intended meaning.

In child molestation circles, Cherry Lover is regularly used to define the act of taking a child's virginity. Although we don't know if that was the intent..... I find myself wondering why they couldn't have built that church wall just a little stronger.

Courtney Antillon Cries “Accident” After Using Vehicle To Run Down Woman She Saw Talking To Her Boyfriend

Omaha, Nebraska (The Weekly Vice) -- Courtney L. Antillon, a 19-year-old Omaha woman, was arrested Monday after she struck an innocent woman with her vehicle after seeing her standing next to her boyfriend. The victim and Antillon's boyfriend had just exchanged insurance information after a minor traffic accident.

"I'm not good," Antillon waled from her jail cell. "It's never going to go away. I'm scared."

Antillon now cries alone in her jail cell - charged with manslaughter after striking down a woman in a jealous rage just moments after seeing her boyfriend and the woman standing together along the roadside.

According to prosecutors, Antillon was driving her silver Mazda Monday night when she saw her boyfriend, Israel Francisco Gonzalo, talking to Ana Rodriquez-Delopez-Cardenas.

Investigators say Antillon became angry, made a u-turn and then tried to strike Gonzalo with her vehicle. Although she succeeded in clipping Gonzalo, her vehicle struck and killed Cardenas as she was getting into her car. Antillon then drove away and later abandoned the vehicle.

"I remember hitting her and seeing her on the ground," said Antillon from the jail. "I seen two people run to her. I didn't know those were her kids."

Antillon's own two children were with her in the car along with her cousin, Dianna Dandridge, who was also arrested in the case. She told investigators she drove away because she needed time to think. She later met with her mother, said goodbye to her children and turned herself in.

Antillon characterized the entire incident as an accident, however prosecutors don't agree. County Attorney, Don Klein called Antillon's actions "senseless," pointing out that Antillon turned the vehicle around and aiming it right for Gonzalo.

According to reports the couple had been arguing earlier when Antillon decided to kick Gonzalo out of the house.

Antillon was charged with manslaughter, 2nd-degree assault, and leaving the scene of an accident. Her cousin, Dandridge, was charged with being an accessory to a felony.

Curtis Jones Had A Crappy Escape Plan - Captured After Using Toilet Paper Roll To Escape From Jail

Columbia, Missouri (The Weekly Vice) - Curtis Jones, a 31-year-old New Franklin man is back in custody after he used a toilet paper roll to escape from a Columbia, Missouri jail.

According to the Howard County Sheriff's office, Jones escaped from the Howard County Jail Monday after using cardboard from a toilet paper roll to jam his cell door.

Jones' bid for freedom did take him far. He was apprehended by Columbia police Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators caught up to Jones after responding to a tip that was instrumental in locating the fugitive. When they arrived at Jones' suspected hideout, they discovered he had fled on foot. He was apprehended after a short foot chase near Melissa and Osage Drive.

This was not the first time Jones escaped captivity. In 1996 Jones escaped from the old Fayette Jail after climbing through a hole in the ceiling. He is currently serving time for a theft after his conviction for stealing anhydrous ammonia - a chemical used for manufacturing meth.

Man Found With Naked 12-Year-Old Girl At Empty Cul-De-Sac. Victim Told Police It Was Their “Quiet Place”

Garner, North Carolina (The Weekly Vice) - Jonathan Leigh Sullivan, a 41-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Monday after police found him in an empty cul-de-sac with a naked 12-year-old girl.

According to Garner Police, Sullivan was parked in the cul-de-sac of an empty subdivision under construction when an off-duty sheriff's deputy decided to investigate.

As the deputy approached the vehicle, he found Sullivan in the vehicle's backseat with a 2-year-old boy. The deputy called for backup when the suspect gave inconsistent statements as to his reason for being in the neighborhood.

Garner police soon arrived and asked Sullivan again why he was in the neighborhood. Sullivan reportedly explained that he had just dropped his daughter off at a local golf club.

As one officer talked to Sullivan, the other noticed a pair of binoculars, a computer and a digital camera inside the vehicle. Officers asked for permission to look at the camera, which was granted by the suspect, according to a search warrant affidavit.

The camera's first photo purportedly showed what appeared to be the vagina of an underage girl. At the same time, another officer noticed the shape of a person hiding under a tarp in the SUV's rear interior.

When the tarp was lifted, officers discovered a twelve-year-old girl trying to dress herself.

Officers interviewed the girl who explained she and Sullivan came to the cul-de-dac often, as it was their "quiet place", according to the arrest affidavit. The two children were later identified as the grandchildren of Sullivan's girlfriend.

Area court records indicate all four-- Sullivan, the grandmother, and her two grandchildren-- live at the same residence.

Sullivan is being held at the Wake County Jail on two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of taking indecent liberties with a child. His is currently being held on a $225,000 bond.

Don’t Make Wendell Arnold Angry - You Wouldn’t Like Him When He’s Angry

Osage Beach, Fla. (The Weekly Vice) - Wendell S. Arnold, a 49-year-old Osage Beach man was arrested Wednesday after he struck his wife with the couple's car - then punched the gas again to run her over.

According to Osage Police, Arnold and his wife were arguing inside their SUV when the woman exited the vehicle and began walking.

Witnesses at the scene told investigators Arnold drove up behind the woman and intentionally struck her with the vehicle - causing her to become airborne. He then proceeded forward, running over her arm.

Witnesses were calling 911 when they saw Arnold pick the woman up, place her back inside the vehicle and drive off. Police quickly located the injured woman and transported her to Lake Regional Hospital where she is listed in serious but stable condition.

Arnold was apprehended and booked into the Camden County Jail on a charge of felony assault in the first degree. He is being held without bail.

This is not Arnold' first arrest or trial for a domestic violence incident. His prior arrests include domestic assault, DWI, and driving without a license. He awaits arraignment at the Camden County Jail. Records also indicate two orders of protection have been filed against Arnold since April of this year.

Deputies Responding to Medical Call Are Attacked By Angry Mob Of Trailer Park Dwellers - Four Dimwits Arrested

Bonita Springs, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Four tweedle-dumbs were arrested Saturday night after an angry mob of trailer park dwellers attacked deputies who were called to assist an intoxicated man.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the Manna Christian Mobile Home Park about 7:30 p.m. in response to a medical assistance call.

When deputies and paramedics arrived on scene they attempted to assist an intoxicated man, later identified as 18-year-old Oscar Garcia. When medics attempted to treat Garcia, he began punching and kicking at the EMS worker. Garcia reportedly ignored orders to stop, kicking one of the deputies several times in the leg.

Deputies were attempting to pull Oscar Garcia off the medic, when 41-year-old Jaime Garcia became involved in the confrontation by striking a deputy in the shoulder. Deputies say Oscar Garcia continued kicking, rendering them unable to bring either man under control.

As the confrontation dragged on, a crowd of 40 - 60 people gathered at the scene, expressing hostility towards the deputies. Deputies called for backup as the angry mob began taking up golf clubs and sticks as makeshift weapons.

When backup arrived, the crowd was pushed back away, allowing deputies to bring Oscar Garcia under control. It was then Esther Garcia entered the fray by attempting to pull the deputy away from Garcia. A crowd onlooker, 30-year-old Jose Hilario, refused orders to back away, earning himself a resisting/obstruction charge.

Oscar Garcia was charged with battery on an officer/firefighter/emt. Jaime Garcia was charged with battery on an officer/firefighter/emt and resisting arrest w/ violence. Esther Garcia was charged with battery on an officer/firefighter/emt and resisting arrest w/ violence.

All four were booked into the Lee County Jail and have since been released.

Zephyrhills, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Lola Brooks Schofield, a 52-year-old Zephyrhills woman was arrested Sunday night for DUI - but not before she gave a Florida Trooper an earful of sweet-talking followed by angry tantrums in the back of his cruiser.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, an officer was on his way home when he noted a vehicle swerving back and forth across the road. He pulled the vehicle over and awaited backup from an on-duty trooper who approached the vehicle.

When Schofield emerged from her car, she lost her balance and fell against the car. She attempted to walk, but staggered instead, forcing the two officers to catch her several times. She then began to have a conversation with an imaginary passenger in her vehicle, according to the trooper's arrest report.

When the Trooper asked Schofield to perform a field sobriety test, she reportedly told him "I will try, baby." After stumbling about she retired the notion of performing the test, stating "I better not do these, I am too drunk," according to the arrest report.

Investigators say she declined a breath test, telling the trooper "I don't think that would be a good idea for me baby." When he asked her to decide, she reportedly replied "No, baby."

During the ride home, howeve, the trooper noted in his report that Schofield began to pound on the vehicle's Plexiglas's partition, complaining that someone was "molesting her babies." She reportedly continued the tyrade, challenging the trooper to "do something about it."

She then cursed at the officer and attempted to kick out the windows of the cruiser, according to the report.

Schofield was booked into the Pasco County Jail on a charge of driving under the influence. She was later released - apparently without bond.

Justin Shine Is A Failure On All Counts - Charged With Attempted Rape After His 6 Year Old Victim Escapes Captivity, Runs To Safety

Hanover, Mass. (The Weekly Vice) -- Justin Shine, a 26-year-old Hanover man was arrested Saturday after police say the 6-year-old girl he tried to rape escaped captivity and ran to safety.

According to Hanover police, 911 dispatchers received a call from a woman around 1:00 p.m. reporting that her 6-year-old daughter was missing. Police conducted a door to door search of the mother's apartment complex when the little girl was found about a half hour later.

"The young girl was found to be shackled above her ankles and blood was found on her arms and legs," said Plymouth County Dist. Attorney, Timothy Cruz. "She was crying and shaking."

The victim then pointed police to the apartment she had just escaped from. It was there investigators found Justin Shine along with evidence of the alleged rape attempt.

Police took Shine into custody after he put up a fight. He was transported to a local hospital for self-inflicted injuries he received during the struggle.

"It's sick. It's demented," said Shine's former girlfriend. "That poor little girl has to suffer the rest of her life. My kids have to suffer the rest of their lives. I can't go back and live there."

Shine's ex-girlfriend, Holly Hersh, told police she recently kicked him out of her apartment because he was abusing drugs. He apparently broke into the apartment just prior to Saturday's attack.

Shine was booked into jail on charges of kidnapping, attempted rape, assault and battery and resisting arrest. He is scheduled for a formal arraignment on Monday.

Matthew Beider Doesn’t Respect His Mother - Jailed After Using Taser On Mother - Kicked And Stomped Her As She Lay On The Floor

Port St. Lucie, Fla. (The Weekly Vice) - Matthew Beider, a 23-year-old Port St. Lucie man who assaulted his mother with a 3-foot-long sword earlier this month has been arrested again.

He was jailed Thursday after allegedly using a Taser on his mother and then stomping on her as she lay on the floor.

According to Port St. Lucie Police, Beider wrestled his mother's personal Taser away from her and then shocked her with it. Then, as she lay on the floor reeling from the jolt, he reportedly kicked her in the head, arms, legs and abdomen.

The victim told police she tried to use the Taser to protect herself when her son "came at her in an aggressive manner," according to the arrest report. It was then Beider reportedly grabbed the Taser and dropped his mother to the ground with it.

Beider was arrested earlier this month after police say he pulled out a 3-foot-long sword and threatened his mother with it. The woman called 911 saying "I am in trouble, come quickly!" The phone was disconnected, however, when Beider cut power to the house from the home's breaker box.

Beider now faces aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, witness tampering, obstruction of justice and aggravated battery/domestic violence with priors. He is being held without bail on two of the charges.

Port St. Lucie, Florida (The Weekly Vice) - Robert William Payne, a 26-year-old Florida man was arrested Friday after he allegedly admitted to masturbating in front of a 5-year-old girl.

According to Port St. Lucie police, Payne's lewd activities began to unravel Wednesday, when his wife found a note he had written to her 5-year-old daughter.

In the letter, Payne allegedly offered buy the girl an X-Box and allow her to play with his cell phone if she allowed him to commit a lewd act in her presence.

"Can I please make love to you one more time? Please, I will let you play with my phone and you will get an X-Box," Payne reportedly wrote.

"There wasn't any way to misinterpret it," said police Det. Richard Giaccone. "The statement was a statement so it definitely needed to be looked into."

Investigators say the girl told them he engaged in the lewd activity on four separate occasions. She also explained that he touched her inappropriately on at least one occasion while he was comitting the act.

Police took Payne into custody after he reportedly admitted to the incidents. Police say he stated that he was attractacted to the victim, blaming his fascination on a previous incident in which he was the alleged victim.

He was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail on four counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation. He currently remains in jail on a $125,000 bond.

Chester Hatton Isn’t Camera Shy - Jailed After Sneaking Into Women’s Bathroom To Photograph Woman And Underage Girl

Cincinnati, Ohio (The Weekly Vice) -- Chester Lee Hatton Jr., a 45-year-old Ohio Man was arrested after allegedly attempting to photograph an underage girl in a bathroom stall.

According to Springdale police, Hatton attempted to use his cell phone to take a photo of the female while she used the restroom at the Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati. He then fled the scene.

Investigators say Hatton returned to the mall June 20 and waited for another victim to enter the restroom. When a woman entered the restroom, Hatton reportedly followed - but not before catching the attention of a security guard working at a nearby department store.

Police say Hatton, who is a registered sex offender on probation, was found inside the women's restroom looking into the adult female's stall. He was taken into custody, questioned and then released. (Released?)

Detectives arrested Hatton three days and booked him into the Hamilton County Justice Center on two counts of voyeurism.

I'm glad they caught this sick bastard - but I've about had my limit with the level of stupidity that seems to permiate our legal system. Here, a registered sex offender on probation is caught inside a women's restroom - yet they let him go? I want to know why. What stroke of insanity possessed the prosecutor's office to think they didn't have a reason to hold this man?

Sometimes our society's worst enemy isn't the perverts who molest our kids. It's a legal system that doesn't seem to understand the significance of this sort of madness.

Kimberly Boone’s Past Comes Back To Haunt Her - Woman Charged With Shooting Husband Embezzled More Than $765,000, Lived Lavishly

Winter Spring, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Kimberly Boone, a 42-year-old Winter Springs woman who admitted to shooting her husband in a darkened garage last March was in deep financial trouble - now investigators say she stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from her former employer.

In late March, The Weekly Vice reported on a horrific story in which a wife lured her husband into their darkened garage and then shot him in the chest. Although she claimed burglars shot her husband, investigators believe she was the shooter . After changing her story several times, she finally admitted to shooting her husband.

Our story ended on the speculation that there was more to the story. Just months before the shooting, the Boone's house caught fire. A short time after Kimberly Boone left their residence, the house burst into flames. Robert Boone, who had fallen asleep, was pulled to safety through a bedroom window.

Now, the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place. Kimberly Boone, who played the role of a loving wife who was kind to her neighbors and family, was in deep financial trouble and about to become the target of an FBI investigation.

Authorities say Kimberly Boone is under investigation for embezzling more than $765,000 from a company in Fredrick, Maryland where she worked. They believe Boone embezzled the money from her employer, I-Hire, while handling the company's finances from her home in Florida.

The company began to investigate it's finances in November when it discovered Boone had wired herself $10,000 from company accounts. Investigators say she used the money to pay down her personal credit card.

After conducting an internal audit, the company discovered it was missing more than $765,000. Worse yet, the company learned Boone hadn't paid it's federal withholding tax for three years - another $380,000 missing.

On Dec. 18, she reportedly admitted to her now-former employer that she had stolen the money. When Robert Boone learned of the theft, he warned that he was going to leave her. One month later, the family home burst into flames just minutes after witnesses saw Kimberly Boone leave. A subsequent investigation revealed the fire had been set in the bedroom nightstand.

Investigators followed the money, discovering Boone was trying to pay down the mortgages of two homes. She and her husband resided in one home, while Robert Boone's parents lived in the other home.

Kimberly Boone is also reported to have been generous with the money, paying large amounts of her relative's living expenses in $4,000 and $5,000 increments. She also spent lavishly on herself, spending thousands of dollars on cosmetic surgery and shopping sprees.

"We have a great life," Boone told Sheriff's Office investigators after the shooting. "We get along, we don't have any financial difficulties, we have quite a bit of money in the bank."

Now that the money has been seized by federal investigators, the lavish life she lived is over. Kimberly Boone applied for state-provided legal council, claiming herself indigent. Her account balance at the John E. Poke Correctional Facility? $21.66 as of today's date.

She now faces charges of Attempted Homicide for the shooting, Attempted Homicide in connection to the fire at her house. Arson, for setting fire to the residence and Embezzlement. Her next hearing date has been set for August 19, 2009.

Taylor Walls Gives Friend A Very Merry Unbirthday - Attends Birthday Party Before Sneaking Off With The Gifts

Golden Gate, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me. I'll first swipe your presents and then you'll never see me.

Taylor Chee Walls, an 18-year-old Florida woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly helped celebrate friend's birthday and then took off with his presents and cash.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's office, Walls went to a male friend's home June 18 to celebrate his birthday. When she asked him if she could spend the night, the friend agreed.

Investigators say the man woke up the next morning to discover Walls had left the residence, taking his birthday presents with her. The estimated value of the gifts were estimated at approximately $850. The woman also reportedly took off with $300 cash.

The victim contacted authorities after Walls dropped the gifts off in his driveway, but refused to return the money. She text messaged the him Tuesday offering to repay him the $300, but later rescinded the offer.

Sheriff's deputies ended the dispute by arresting her at her home on Wednesday.

Walls was booked into the Collier County Jail on a charge of felony grand theft.

Mayor Mark Musselwhite Got His Nude On - Charged With Public Indecency After He Let It All Hang Out At Campground

Clayton, Georgia (The Weekly Vice) -- Mark Musselwhite, 43 and a former Mayor of Gainesville, Georgia, was arrested last weekend after witnesses at a campground reported a "naked man" walking. When park rangers arrived on scene, they found Musselwhite sitting nude in a chair - wondering what he was doing wrong.

Arresting Officer Brandon C. Walls was alerted by dispatch that several campers and passerby had complained about a naked man sitting around his campsite, in full view of everyone. Walls later produced a report that reads like an episode of Reno: 911.

I OBSERVED A MALE SUBJECT, WHO EARLIER… I HAD IDENTIFIED AS MARK MUSSELWHITE… SITTING NUDE IN A CHAIR IN FRONT OF HIS CAMPER/HORSE TRAILER. I HAD SPOKEN WITH HIM EARLIER IN REFERENCE TO AN ATV HE HAD BEEN RIDING IN THE AREA. HE LOOKED AT US AND SAID HELLO. I ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS DOING, HE SAID HE WAS JUST SITTING HERE AND ASKED IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I DID NOTICE HE WAS DRINKING AND APPEARED VERY INTOXICATED. I ASKED HIM WHY HE DID NOT HAVE ANY CLOTHES ON. HE SAID HE WAS HOT AND HAD BEEN IN THE CREEK. AT THAT POINT HE WANTED TO KNOW WHY WE WERE THERE AND WHAT HE WAS DOING WRONG. I ADVISED HIM THAT WE HAD GOTTEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT A MAN WALKING AROUND NUDE IN THE AREA. STILL NUDE, HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS NOT HIM.

The report continues with an accusation by Officer Walls that the suspect became belligerent and identified himself as the town's former Mayor. Musselwhite allegedly proceeded to argue with Walls about the validity of an arrest in this situation, but Walls cuffed the nude man and lead him to a squad car without further incident.

The arrest report also mentions a "female subject" at the scene, apparently camping with Musselwhite, who kept out of the argument and was not charged.

Stephen Murdoch Got In touch With His Inner Diva - Arrested On Drug Charges While Watching Porn In Drag

Tustin, California (The Weekly Vice) -- Stephen Murdoch, a 45-year-old Tustin, California man was arrested early Tuesday morning while wearing a bustier, fishnet stockings, and heels. He was watching a pornographic film on his laptop and found to be in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia at the time.

Sgt. Todd Bullock stated that, at approximately 1:30am, a security guard for the Sierra Vista complex at 2965 Champion Way noticed a man sitting inside a workout room that was closed and was supposedly locked-up. When police arrived, they found Murdoch "hiding" behind some exercise equipment, talking to himself and covered in sweat. They also saw people having sex in a video playing on his computer.

After searching his person, they found the drugs and drug paraphernalia in a duffel bag allegedly belonging to Murdoch.

He was soon booked into the Orange County Jail for possession of narcotics.

Todd Thomas Has Bad Aim - Jailed After Attempting To Run Over Wife With Dump Truck - Missed Twice

Standish, Maine (The Weekly Vice) -- Todd Thomas, a 40-year-old Biddeford man was arrested Wednesday night after attempting to run his wife over with a one-ton dump truck. He wrecked the truck after attempting a second pass.

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office the trouble began when the intoxicated couple began to argue at a friend's home. When the argument escalated, the woman left the residence with her dog, saying she planned to walk home alone.

Investigators say Thomas became angered and started out after her in a one-ton dump truck. He then swerved the vehicle towards the woman, narrowly missing her.

After failing to hit his wife, Thomas reportedly put the vehicle into reverse and attempted to strike her once more. The attempt failed when Thomas' vehicle left the road way and crashed into several trees. He then fled the scene and ran back toward the home the couple had been drinking at.

A Windham police dog found Thomas, who was described by deputies as "extremely intoxicated." Deputies say he was found hiding in a vehicle in front of the residence.

Thomas was booked into the Cumberland County Jail on charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. Bond was set at $1,040.

Aja And Angela Have Been Here Before - Couple Jailed After Abusing And Neglecting 3 Year Old Boy

Tampa, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Aja Feagin, a 24-year-old Tampa woman already on probation for child neglect charges has been arrested again for neglecting and abusing her 3-year-old son. Her live-in girlfriend, Angela Hammond, 26, delivered the beating that alerted day care workers to the continued abuse.

The alleged abuse was uncovered by watchful and concerned day care workers, who reported their suspicions to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators from the sheriff’s office took the boy to be examined, where medical staff determined the child had been injured on purpose.

Investigators say Hammond beat the boy because he accidentally urinated in his pants.

The sheriff’s office reported that the child had bruises on his back, arms and buttocks. In addition, investigators say that the child had a large, open sore on his bottom, which had gone untreated, leading to infection severe enough to require surgery at Tampa General Hospital.

Further details from the arrest report allege that Hammond became angry after the accident, and beat him with a cotton belt, her bare hand, and then sent him to a corner for a “time out” after his nose started bleeding. Hammond told investigators she has a problem with anger. You think?

According to court records, Feagin was arrested in March of 2008 after daycare workers noticed the child had been abused. She was sentenced to 24 months of probation and ordered to take parenting classes. Hammond was not charged at that time.

Feagin is now incarcerated in the Hillsborough County Jail on charges of child abuse and child neglect. She remains held without bond on the child abuse charge.

Angela Hammond was jailed on two counts of aggravated child abuse, where she also remains without bond.

Twice now that same couple has been charged with abusing and/or neglecting this little boy. The first time the State of Florida let him down by giving him back to this couple. Let us all hope that this time it doesn’t.

Thumbs up to the alert daycare workers who noticed the continued abuse. Thumbs down to the legal system that kept this boy in danger with little or no follow up.

Carolyn McNeal Earned 58 Failing Grades - Charged With Using School System Passwords To Improve Her Daughter’s Grades

Huntingdon, Pennsylvania (The Weekly Vice) -- Carolyn Maria McNeal, a 39-year-old high school secretary faces 58 charges after using logging into a school computer system to improve her daughter's grades.

According to Huntingdon Police, McNeal used her co worker's passwords to log into a school computer system and change her daughter's grades. She also reportedly used the system to lower the grades of two other students.

Investigators say McNeal changed nearly 200 grades and test scores between May, 2006 and July, 2007. The alleged tampering came to light in October, 2007, when an employee in the high school guidance office discovered conflicting SAT scores. Criminal charges in the case were filed Thursday.

McNeal's daughter's cumulative SAT scores jumped 360 points as a result of the tampering and that the changes came from McNeal's computer, according to court documents.

Employees told investigators they trusted McNeal with their passwords when they were absent due to vacations and sick days. The grades in question have since been corrected.

McNeal now faces felony 29 counts of unlawful use of a computer and 29 felony counts of tampering with public records. Each count is punishable by up to seven years on prison and a $15,000 fine.

Anthony Teifke Had A Fetish - And Child Porn Wouldn’t Satisfy It

Fond du Lac, Wisconsin (The Weekly Vice) -- Anthony R. Teifke, an 18-year-old high school student from Fond du Lac, Wisconisn, is charged with sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 12. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Friday in Walworth County Court, where he will be formally accused of illegal sexual intercourse with a small child. Police say Teifke knew the girl for some time before he assaulted her.

However, a preliminary investigation by The Weekly Vice uncovered news of another recent arrest and imprisonment, this for accessing child pornography on a library computer. Earlier stories indicate Tiefke was already in jail on those charges when the molestation allegations came to light. Our inquiries also uncovered information that the girl in question may be as young as three.

Altogether, authorities indicate, the teenager could face up to 60 years in prison if convicted on both charges. Teifke is in jail in Walworth County awaiting a $10,000 cash bond.

Anthony's 45 MySpace friends are virtually silent on the matter (he hasn't had a posted comment since May 10th), but one person left some colorful opinions on his profile's writeboard. There is also a counter that celebrates the number of days "since I got kicked out," which reads 1 year and 10 months, possibly indicating a recent high school expulsion.

Carolyn Pierce Lowered The Molestation Bar - Accused Of Raping 2-Year-Old Toddler

Orleans, Massachusetts (The Weekly Vice) -- Carolyn Pierce, a 27-year-old Centerville, Massachusetts woman has entered a plea of not guilty to charges of repeatedly raping the 2-year-old girl she babysat in the town of Dennis.

Pierce now faces trial for seven counts each of indecent assault and battery and forced rape of a child, stemming from a five-day gig supervising the toddler in early June.

According to police, the unidentified mother noticed her two-year-old was suffering from some physical effects of the abuse and took her to a child advocacy group called The Children’s Cove, where signs of minor vaginal injuries were detected. Police immediately contacted Pierce, who reportedly admitted to sexual contact with the child on a number of occasions.

Police also say that Pierce was contacted via text message by another family she works for and admitted the charges were true. The authorities say she then proceeded to describe her actions in full detail.

District Attorney Michael Donovan noted that the accused, herself the mother of a two-year-old, has other babysitting clients but no there have been no reports of similar incidents.

David Santuomo - Firefighter Plead Guilty To Slaying Two Dogs To Save Pet Boarding Costs During Vacation

Columbus, Ohio (The Weekly Vice) -- David P. Santuomo, a 43-year-old Columbus firefighter pleaded guilty Wednesday to shooting two dogs so he wouldn't have to pay boarding fees while he and his girlfriend went on vacation.

Franklin County prosecutors say Santuomo took his two dogs to the basement, suspended them from a ceiling pipe and then shot them at least 11 times - all in an effort to avoid costs associated with pet-sitting.

Authorities became aware of the animals' killing in December, 2008 after Santuomo allegedly bragged to coworkers about killing the dogs and then dumping their corpses.

"Fellow firefighters were disgusted by what he did and the Capital Area Humane Society was called to investigate," said county prosecutor Heather Robinson. "The humane society would have taken the animals if Santuomo had asked, and two neighbors had offered to watch the dogs in his absence."

Court documents reveal Santuomo initially lied to investigators, claiming the dogs were suffering because they had consumed anti-freeze. He also reportedly lied to his children and ex-wife about what had happened.

Santuomo, however, changed his story after a necropsy proved that he was lying, Robinson said.

Santuomo pleaded guilty to two counts of animal cruelty and one count of possession of a criminal tool. He was ordered to spend 90 days in jail and pay a $4,500 fine.

Michael Kruse Demands Police Escort To See Rap Artist - Instead Gets Escorted To Jail

Saint Augustine, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Michael Kruse, a 20-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested Sunday after calling 911 to demand a police escort to see Lil' Wayne.

According to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, Kruse made two separate calls to 911 demanding that a police escort drive him to Miami to see rap artist Lil' Wayne.

Investigators say 911 operators instructed Kruse not to call unless it was an emergency, however a called back a few hours later with the same request for a police escort.

According to the arrest report, authorities speculated that Kruse might have been under the influence of an unknown substance when he called. (Gee, ya think?)

Kruse eventually got his escort - deputies transported him to the St. Johns County Jail on a charge of making a false 911 report. He was released after posting a $200 bond.

Lahoma Smith Is All That And A Bag Of Chips - Well, Not Really, But One Man Sure Thought So

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (The Weekly Vice) -- Lahoma Sue Smith, a 36-year-old Oklahoma woman has been sentenced after she reportedly offered to provide oral sex to a man in exchange for a box of Frito-Lay chips.

According to Oklahoma City Police, officers witnessed Smith "trying to catch a date" by flashing her headlights to would-be 'customers'. Patrol officers reportedly followed Smith's vehicle leading them to discover her and a male inside the vehicle engaged in sexual activity.

Investigators say Smith's blouse was open and the man was in the passenger seat pulling up his pants when officers approached the vehicle. Smith told officers that the man asked for her 'company' but didn't have money to pay for her services. A deal was struck between the two - trading oral sex for a box of Frito-Lay chips - at an estimated value of $30.

Smith, who admitted she had been arrested "two or three times" before for prostitution, was charged with prostitution and driving on a suspended license. The man was not arrested.

The woman agreed in court last week to plead no contest to a charge of prostitution. She was fined $1,142.

Bank Robber Michael Prance Caught Red Handed - Literally

Seminole, Florida (The Weekly Vice) -- Michael Prance, a 53-year-old homeless man in Seminole, Florida has been arrested after he was caught redhanded-- literally-- following a bank robbery.

Police claim Prance is the culprit from a RBC Bank robbery that took place at approximately 1:52pm last Thursday. The authorities combed the surrounding area immediately after, but it was soon determined that the suspect had escaped (and with an unspecified amount of cash.) At 6pm, residents of the town's Caribbean Mobile Home Park called 911 to report a drunk and disorderly interview in the pool area of the park.

According a press release from the Seminole Police Department, "The witness reported that the subject who was stumbling around the pool area, was carrying a bottle of wine and had a red substance on him that resembled dye. When the suspect was approached, he became belligerent towards the complainant. The complainant asked him to leave and the suspect eventually did so."

Prance was arrested almost 90 minutes later outside the Seminole Subs restaurant, after a bus driver called police to report a belligerent passenger. Police claim they found Prance to be in possession of the black satchel the bank robbery suspect had used to store his loot, which was now irreparably stained with red dye, along with all of the missing money. He has been charged with bank robbery and disorderly intoxication.
