Sierra Vista, AZ (The Weekly Vice) - Lisa Marie White, a 41-year-old Arizona woman was arrested after she admitted to injecting a 2-month-old baby with insulin to keep him from crying.
According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report of suspected child abuse when a 2-month-old child arrived at Cochise Community Hospital with extremely high levels of insulin in his system.
Investigators say the baby's 18-month-old sister was admitted into the hospital with similar symptoms earlier this month, which seemed peculiar to hospital staff. They contacted the Tucson Police department, who later contacted the Sheriff's office.
On Tuesday, detectives with the Sheriff's office interviewed the parents of the child and other adults living in the same residence, including White who is not related to the family. That's when White, who is diabetic, admitted to injecting the infant with one-half cubic centimeter of insulin in an effort to quiet the child when he wouldn't stop crying.
The Sheriff's office is also investigating the case involving the infant's sister.
White was booked into jail on attempted murder charges. She is being held in lieu of a $1 million dollar bond.

Also, what kind of logic is that? Insulin injection to stop crying?
Guess she'll be looking for a new place to live when she gets out of the slam. Probably lucky the cops got her and not the parents.
Id inject her with a little pointy toe cowboy boot in her a$$ if that was my child.
