Indianapolis, IN (The Weekly Vice) - Jonathan Sharkey, a 44-year-old self-proclaimed "vampire" was jailed after he allegedly threatened to torture and kill a judge, claiming that he is exempt from traditional laws since he follows “vampire laws.
Sharkey, who once ran for office as a Minnesota gubernatorial candidate, was featured by The Weekly Vice back in February after he was arrested on charges of stalking a teenage girl.
According to Indianapolis police, Sharkey, a.k.a. “Rocky Flash” threatened to beat, torture, impale, dismember, decapitate, and kill the wife and children of Judge David Certo, who is presiding over another case involving Sharkey. He was typing the threats on a Speedway Public Library computer when an employee noticed him doing so and called police.
Sharkey claims to be the leader of the group Vampyre Nation, and believes that he should not have to abide by traditional laws because he follows the “vampire laws”
Sharkey was booked into jail and charged with felony intimidation. He plead guilty and was sentenced to 884 days in jail.
In addition to the jail time, Sharkey was ordered to stay away from Judge Certo and his family.
Sharkey told prosecutors that he plans to run for political office under the pagan party when he gets out of prison.
The Weekly Vice Opinion:
This guy is completely unfit for society. That group looks like a satanic cult in the making! The fact that this is second time around on this site doesn’t really shock me after hearing a little about him. How is this guy not in a padded room yet? Vampire laws? This guy is nuts!!
